Fan Fest 2008 Art Contest Prizes Revealed!

unit (LoN)

  • Unit cards aid your avatar in combat against your opponent.

  • Units are also integral in defending during your opponent's questing phase.

  • These cards can represent a wide rage of weak and powerful creatures from the lowly Giant Field Rat to the incredibly powerful Lord Nagafen.

Unit Factions

  • As with most cards, unit cards can be of either Light, Neutral, or Shadow faction.
  • Playing a card of a certain faction can affect some cards and how your game plays out. For a more in-depth discussion of how this works, check out the faction meter page.

  • Fighter specific cards are indicated with red edging, Priest cards with yellow edging, Scout cards with green edging and Mage cards are indicated by blue edging.

  • Mage and Scout specific units seem to be the most prolific, however, Fighter and Priest specific unit cards do exist.

Undead Orc Unit
Undead Orc Unit

  • This card is unique in that it has more than one type.

  • Certain cards effects are determined by card type. For example, the Necromantic Orb grants attack and defense while it is ready.

  • The above card would be impacted by all other cards that have additional effects like the Necromantic Orb on undead, but would also be affected by similar cards pertaining to orcs as well.

For a listing of Unit cards see: Units.
