Fan Fest 2008 Art Contest Prizes Revealed!

war career:Engineer

Alliance Order / Dwarfs / Oathbearers
Race Dwarf
Gender Either
Archetype Ranged DPS
Specialties Grenades, Guns, Spanners
Appearance Dwarf Engineers are covered in all manner of gadgets and devices, most of which involve a healthy amount of black powder. They can turn almost anything into a weapon (such as their spanners) but they are often seen wielding pistols and handguns.
Lore and Description
Dwarf Engineers are a breed apart. They are obsessed with tinkering and explosives...rarely a good combination! That being said they are responsible for all the mightiest Dwarf war machines: Cannons, Organ Guns and the dreadful Flame Cannon all originated from their forges. Perhaps the most impressive feat to date is artificial flight: the Gyrocopter. This invention confirms the Dwarfs as the most technologically advanced race in the Warhammer world.

Engineers take their knowledge to the battlefield in a number of ways. Most often it is wielding a ridiculous amount of firearms or manning Dwarf war machines. In either case it involves prodigious amounts of black powder. The smell of ignited black powder, smoke and burning Skaven are what makes an Engineer smile.
