Deep within the Yagudo's haven of Giddeus lies Balga's Dais. The Burning Circle within this area is the entrance point for the battlefield of many Burning Circle Notorious Monster battles.

Although the area itself has no level restriction, several of the BCNM battles have level caps. Once you enter the Burning Circle area, the level cap will be automatically enforced.

Click on the above quests link for a listing of BCNMs accessible from this zone.

There is no map of Balga's Dais.

lvls 19 - 25, if you have 19s go with a full party, if you are around 25, go with 3 or 4. Make sure you have a blm to sleep the dragon. After that take out the eye. Once the eye is dead go for the dragon.
all the info can be found here:

I would recommend a party of higher than 25. For the most part, the mission for the dragon is done by those who need it along with someone helping. I recommend a WHM 29 or higher for this simply because the dragon will most likely cause curse on someone (usually the mnk if the mnk goes 2hr). At 29, whms get cursna.

You'll get a much better look at the mission if you check the mission section of this site =)

Ummm... you're capped at 25 my friend, WHM can't cure curses if they are capped believe the spell level.

The Moon Orb is 50 beastman seals, and yes you idd need a trusted group, these things arent always easy to beat, so be prepeared.
Goblin Footprint

I wondered back into this place and along the path leading up to the burning cirlce, there was a lockable area called "Goblin Footprint". I mean lockable as in the way you can lock on a harvest point. It's on the ground and when I checked it out, it said I heard a voice that said "la la la la la item" (not exact quote). Anyone know what this is about?

Those I believe connect to the new high-level areas, Dynamis.... if you trade them a certain thing, you get a perpetual hourglass, with can spawn another hourglass for you to give to someone, and they cn spawn another, and so on and so forth, all set for the time and date Dynamis will be open to them.

You are thinking of Trail Markings, which appear in Sandoria/Bastok/Windurst/Jeuno and are the true gateways to Dynamis.

Dynamis and Goblin Footprints have nothing to do with each other.

Goblin footprints are made by a goblin who can show you any cut-scene from that area that you have currently viewed. All you have to do is trade him something... anything. It has nothing to do with dynamis as far as I know.

if you trade a beastcoin to the gob footprint you will get the cut-scene

In areas like the Qu'lun Dome it doesn't work though, I am guessing you need a higher level item for those ones. Silver beastcoins didnt work for that area's footprint either

Dude.. you can trade 1 gil to a Goblin Footprint to get him to pop. He only comes out if you've HAD a scene there already.
beastman seals
# Feb 13 2004 at 11:53 AM Rating: Decent
I used the comet orb (50 beastman seals) and the reason you will need a trusted group is sometimes it will drop rare spells such as erase and expesive spells like that. When i went into the battlefield they had 3 chests a small on a medium sized one and a large one. You attack you and if you kill it your group will get the contents of it. I didnt have a group (stupidly) so when i tried for the bigger chest the thing hit me for 300ish dmg and i was dead in two hits.

I'am on the Caitsith server, and my Japanese friend who also can speak english, said You will need 40 beastman seals to enter the Battle Circle, and a very trusted group, one item you can get from there is, "Ice spikes.".. Dont mistake this little fiends, Also I heard the levels differ from 40 beastman seals to 60 beastman seals.

If you use a BCNM40 orb (I think its the "moon orb"), you can fight the "Dvorovoi."
What it is

The Shrine is the place where the Dragon for San D'orias and Bastok's Rank 3 mission. It takes a group of LV 20-25 to defeat the dragon, though you can probably easily make it there on your own. It is in the very southern part of Giddeus

Balga's Dais is another very small zone, holding a Burning Circle.

It can be reached from far back in the zone of Giddeus.
