To open the weighted Ornate Doors you need:
- 1x Galka
- 2x Hume/Elvaan/Mithra
- 3x Taru
NPC's can also be used. As a Mithra, I've open the door solo with my Mithra NPC, Pimy.

Description
This mysterious chamber lies deep beneath the sands of Zepwell Island. The white, bone-like walls and pillars closely resemble those found scattered about Vana'diel.
Points of Interest
- Shattering Stars (Genkai 5) battles for SAM, NIN, and DRG are fought here.
- Moon Reading, Through the Quicksand Caves and Roar! A Cat Burglar Bares Her Fangs utilize this zone.
- Legion XI Comitatensis, Cactuar Suave, Eye of the Storm and The Scarlet King are BCNMs fought here.

Yes I know, The OP was referring to the use of an NPC fellow to open the door. I said in my post, clearly I was using my hume NPC and im hume so thats humex2 and the door's do not open for me.

I have been trying to open the weighted Ornate Door for awhile I have my hume npc with my plus my wyvern Ive tried fighting on it sitting resting it doesnt open for me I think they might have changed something.

As I am Taru and my fellow is Taru as well, I am sadly still one short of gaining access. :(

A quick guide to getting to Oracle's Chamber:
The entrance to Quicksand Caves you want to use is at D-12 in Western Altepa Desert. It's not on the map, you have to enter the cave at the border between C/D-11 to get to it. It's the only entrance in this hidden spot, so it's not too hard to find.

The circles you see on the ground are Pressure Pads, which open the ornate doors in front of them. I opened them with 3 people, but Ive been told that 1 Galka can open them.
Open the Ornate Door at K-7, then H-7. Fall in the hole at F-7, then follow the left wall and you're there ^_^
Its quite simple, and you only need Sneak the whole way to avoid aggro. Good luck, happy adventuring~
