Description

In order to bring in ordinary sightseers, the Fishermen's Guild gained permission to land on the beautiful beaches of Purgonorgo Isle. This island, in the middle of the Bibiki Bay, is accessible only via the Manaclipper or through the enchantment on body pieces obtained during Sunbreeze Festivals. Many of the bounties of aquaculture remained untouched.

I was watching my bro go here for the first time, he got on and there were 2 mobs. one was Collosal Calamari and the other was the squid thing in a shell. He did good damage the first 2 hits agaisnt the crustacean but then it started hiding in his shell so my bro did weak damage. While it was in it's shell it also regened health. The fight went on for a while and my bro died near the dock. These things don't aggro or link. Btw, my bro was lvl 48 MNK so only attack it if you're sure u can take it. It also read
EP-- for him

There is an NM called uhm.. "Collosal Callamari (spelling pending)". It floated across the deck for a few seconds and then dissapeared.. It's a kraken type mob.. I'd imagine you'd need to spam provoke or something to get it ^_~;

For those of you in it for the sightseeing, I highly recommend the Reef tour. Very pretty, for a video game. :-P Just don't turn around and look at the jelly-mob Clots, it'll ruin the pretty scenery- and maybe your appetite. x_x

Did a Composite+Sinking Minnow and caught a G.Tuna on the first cast - that's probably what broke your rod.

OK the squidlike things mentioned below con TWW to a lvl 60 as mentioned but they have a poison attack that ticks around 50-60hp off at a time. I was riding with my blm friend and he killed one. At the end of the fight he was around full health, about 20 seconds later he was at half-health. These things hurt pretty bad.

Omg, that is some straight up serious poison. I hope I'm not caught by it out of MP or without a WHM subbed o.0

Lord knows if I am I'll be /shouting to the heavens for a Poisona.

Went on this ship today.

Go to Biliki Beach area and then to Sunset Dock.

A NPC offers sightseeing trips for 80 Gil each. The first two trips are sightseeing trips. After you complete these first two trips, purchase a 3rd ticket. The boat then takes you to a tropical island where you can explore, fight, or dig for clams. Very pretty area. For high level players. Did not come across any aggros.

I got to visit this zone during the Square Enix CoP launch party in Milpitas on Saturday.

This zone is a ferry--the catamaran you've seen in the pictures. It connects the two (?) sections of Babiki Bay. There is a tour guide NPC of sorts on the ferry who mention a few things about fishing or clamming--not really sure what she was on about.

There ARE mobs on this ferry, squidlike things with shells. They were TWW for the level 60 characters we were playing that night.

The trip takes maybe 5 minutes.
