Description

Lower Jeuno is the commercial hub of the Grand Duchy. Battle-hardened adventurers stand shoulder-to-shoulder with suspicious, oddly named individuals at the auction house in the main concourse. Lower Jeuno is also where adventurers usually go to shout for a teleport, buy and sell items through bazaars or seek help in missions and quests.

Lower Jeuno is also where adventurers go to partake in Moblin Maze Mongers, in which parties of players work together to accomplish certain goals in customizable mazes.

There's more to Lower Jeuno than the never-ending commerce. Adventurers come from far and wide to to visit Muckvix's Junk Shop, while others do business in the Tenshodo Headquarters. Many residents of Lower Jeuno offer quests and tasks perfectly suited for brave adventurers.

Lower Jeuno was once the most populated city district in Vana'diel, but that changed once ferry service opened to Aht Urhgan Whitegate.

Points of Interest

  • Bluffnix in Muckvix's Junk Shop initiates all Gobbiebag quests.
  • The home point is located near the exit to Rolanberry Fields.
  • The entrance to Moblin Maze Mongers can be found in the chocobo stables.
  • The Tenshodo is found in the Neptune's Spire of this area.
  • Complete the quest Tenshodo Membership to gain entry into the Tenshodo Headquarters.

Maps

The Map of the Jeuno Area can be purchased from several merchants in cities throughout Vana'diel for 600 gil.

You need to trade a Tenshodo Invite to the Mithra at the counter by the entrance. This can either be bought from the AH, about 15k last time I checked (Fairy server), or quested and from what I hear it is a very long and hard quest.

Actually, entrance to the Tenshodo area via the Neptune Spire Inn is quite easy to achieve:
1. Talk to the Mithra behind the desk.
2. Select the 3rd option (there is no text on this option, it will appear you are selecting a blank line).
3. Go to Warehouse 2 (the one with the Norg fame quest in) in Bastok.
4. Talk to the fat man by the table (upper level).
5. Return to the Neptune Spire Inn with your Tenshodo Application Form and talk to the Mithra behind the desk again.
6. CONGRATULATIONS! You have now received access to the Tenshodo area and you now have a free Tenshodo Invite to give to whom ever you wish.

Yes, It takes 4 Days In-Game which is 4 Hours Real Time... But, its Unexplainably worth 4 Hours of your time... The item needed is Gausebit Grasses... They drop from Wadi Hares, My advice is to just go to AH and buy 4 Gausebit Grasses. Each Hour(Real time), You have to go to the Chocobo Stables and Feed the Chocobo 1 Gausebit Grass. Eventually the Chocobo will start to like you and take the Grasses straight from your hand. Anyways, You dont have to stand at the Chocobo place for exactly 4 Hours... You just have to remember to come back every hour... I went and Created another Character and Bought new gear and did some Spring Cleaning in my Mog house... For the Inbetween time taking stuff... ***** Remeber: You MUST be lvl 20+ to obtain/complete this quest *****

The Gausebit Grasses can be obtained in Dangruf Wadi, You must kill Wadi Hares(lvl 22-25) to get the drop... My advice is if you are lvl 20... Get some higher lvl thf to help you kill them(Preferably lvl 45 for -Treasure Hunter II-) Hope it helped if theres anything incorrect, Just reply and I will fix it.

Three options as i see it:

Run through, avoiding aggro (quadavs sound, goblins sight, shouldn't be near any marlboros, gobbues shouldn't be a problem, they're farmed alot).

Silent oils and Prizm Powders.

Find an escort.

to get fame in juno sandy and bastok just buy yourself 10 stacks of boyana moss and take them to selblina, to trade to an old man by a sheep pen (trade one at a time he won't take more then that per trade) this will raise your fame in all three countrys. ps if you need more fame just buy more moss and repete.

How do i get fame in a city. Sorry i do not know.
RE: fame
# Dec 19 2004 at 12:29 AM Rating: Decent
It is very easy to get fame in cities! All you need to do is do some quest for that city, and missions also help raise fame. Once you are lvl 30 do the quest for adv jobs and you can get more fame that way. The higher lvl your fame the better quests you can get and that means better items from lower lvl quests! Smiley: clap

Raise your fame in the 3 main cities, and your fame will go up in Jeuno also. There are a few excellent repeatable quests in each of the main cities, as well as the outlying towns - these can raise your fame in Jeuno quickly if you can do a bunch of repeats.

Of course you could also try and complete many of the non-repeatable quests, as you get more fame for them than for a redo of a repeatable quest.

On weekends the cost of a chocobo is usually around 400 gil at the Crags, and ranges from 400-800 in Jueno depending on the traffic.
