Description

Apollyon is a region of the emptiness attached to the celestial Zilart capital of Al'Taieu. The emptiness, which also made the promyvion regions inside of the teleport crags, is a mysterious phenomenon that's been slowly eating away parts of Vana'diel. Monsters and other beings trapped in this region, as well as inside the teleport crags, were also consumed with emptiness.

This main Apollyon area is the lobby for Limbus, a popular endgame event.

Points of Interest

• Apollyon is split into eastern and western halves. The eastern half is accessed from the swirling vortex at K-6 in Al'Taieu, and the western half is accessed from the vortex at D-6 in Al'Taieu.
• A Red Card is needed to open the western vortex.
• A Black Card is needed to open the eastern vortex.
• Each vortex remains open for at least 30 seconds, allowing everyone in the alliance to enter into Apollyon.
• All players need a Cosmo-Cleanse to enter the six lower levels of Apollyon.
• A Metal Chip must be traded to the swirling vortex inside Apollyon to enter Apollyon - CS.
• A Magenta Chip, Charcoal Chip, Smoky Chip and Smalt Chip must be traded to the swirling vortex inside Apollyon to enter Apollyon - Central.
