Description
When the Galka were driven from their homeland in the Kuzotz region, they fled to Bastok by way of the Korroloka Tunnel. The tunnel travels deep beneath the sea and is filled with worms, crabs, pugils, spiders and numerous other monsters. Adventurers from Bastok can access the tunnel by traveling through the Zeruhn Mines.
Points of Interest
- Adventurers at levels of 15 to 19 can party here for experience points.
- The Morion Worm is spawned by trading an Iron Ore to the ??? at J-9 or J-8 on the first map, F-9 or F-10 on the second map, or I-8 or J-8 on the third map.
- The ??? at F-9 on the fifth map spawns the Metallic Slime for the quest Blighted Gloom.
- The ??? on the border of K-8 and L-9 spawns three Korroloka Leeches for the quest Ayame and Kaede, which unlocks the ninja job.
- Summoners are known for doing astral burn parties in this zone.

this is a little off topic, but I tried entering but couldn't... I'm assuming I didn't have the exp pack registered/installed. How might I go about doing this?

this map is in correct. Cause I was at C-9 and ended up in East.

it acutally is perfect. if you notice where the column 'H' is on the map, you could see, that is where the map divides.

It's not incorrect. You just weren't on this level when you zoned to East. There's 5 levels in Korroloka.
Hi everyone,
I know that this may be a stupid question, but can Chocobos go into the Korraloka Tunnel? I was lucky enough to get an escort to the teleport crag in the Eastern Altepa desert and I have been partying near Rabao, but my homepoint is set there and I was wondering if I could ride back to Bastok when I am done partying? I am not sure if this is possible. If all fails though, at least I still have two more charges left of my "Federation Stable Scarf" so I can at least get to Windy. I'd rather not use it if possible since I am down to the last two.

the map they show is a lil imcomplete as some of you may have noticed therefore I attempted to make a complete one, check it out, hope it help answer questions as to where things are located

Im not sure if its me or the map on windows or a different server has a change.
some details of this map dont corespond to what i have on my PS2 version.
I defenitly dont see the extra tunnel or to that matter the whole area on a single scaled map. My map shows in two halfs at a time.
Correct me if im missing something, im very confused with this map and the one that shows up on my screen. ^^ thanks

RDM is good soloing here at 21-25 on the worms, just keep silence up, if your ever bored lfp just go here
I been soloing this area for days as DRG/RDM. Been getting getting around 100 exp per clipper/spider and any where from 30 to 60 exp for bat/worm kills for 2 days now. Even took out a few pugils when they agroed me (150 exp but some recover time needed) Started out as a barely lvl 30 and now nearly lvl 32. I know not as fast as a party, but making some gill selling the drops and not having to wait for invites or having the hassel of starting a party makes it worth it. *grin* Even after buy all those juices, I'm still 10,000 gill ahead so far and I still have stuff to sell.

..... You can get a map of korrokola in bastok markets. And in my opinion, this is a horrible place for manaburn PTs. You can't pull worms.....so how u gonna rest for MP? Please don't tell me you have refresh, lol. I think that the only thing this place is good for is ranger soloing. And btw, to the ranger guy who posted, Yellow Curry is the way to go on ranger soloing. And if you can get someone to give you shell IV, theres no need to hit and run.
This map is not available in Bastok. You must travel through the tunnel and then through Altepa Desert to reach Rabao where the map is sold.

People Usually Come Here To Get Away From Qufim's Agressive monsters and its undead, it also can get crowded
The best place to lvl up from 14 to 20, i lvl up here 4 times in 6 hours just hitting worms, worms are pretty easy to kill and very good exp. points, whm, blm, 2 wars, 1 mnk and 1 rdm.

Maybe as war20/whm10, but remember only to take on {Easy Prey} or {Decent Challenge}s if you're strong enough. You can party here at 15-20 usually, at 20 90% of people move to {Qufim Island} (some do it at 19, and I've even seen one 18). Be sure that if you PT here do it on worms and if you are lvl 15 have a good, well rounded, non-noob PT. A few newbs are fine, but make sure they can do their jobs. As 16 THF I went here and got 18 in a matter of hours.
Just a note for anyone who didn't know, manaburn and arrowburn parties work EXCELLENT here, I had a party consisting of BLM BLM BLM BLM RNG WAR and easily went from 13-18 in about 3-4 hours. There was virtually no rest time, and we managed to scrape 300 exp one time o_O

well, my my girlfriend cant enter the tunnel and i can. this is wierd because she is a higher rank then me but i can enter and she cant. does anyone know how she can enter?

Don't spoil their fun. =P If said person wants to be RP, I say let'em be RP. I know I get like that when it comes to my DRG. I see no harm in letting people envelop themselves in a fantastic environment. That's what these games were all about. I'd say until people took the game too far and saw it all as numbers and programming and said Galka can't play BLM and RDM can't melee. Stop being a spoil sport and let us have some fun for heaven's sakes. -___-

You can also capture a screenshot(just a single using this method) by pressing "Print Scrn" on your keyboard. Then go into some sort of photo editing program and paste it. But, also, if you press that button and then press it again it is the most recent picture that is saved, overwriting the first one.
Fraps can also be gotten from www.fraps.com and I suggest giving up the $30 dollars for the full version, since the trial version is a max of 30 second of record and has a water mark on it.

i saw some excavation points in korrokola and tested to mine a day, but i got only some crab shell that worth really something, if anyone is interested to test that it would be nice cuz im sure there is 1 thing that worth really something like in almost all other mining area.
Land worm really rocks. It gave me tons of experience points as level 15 warrior, and you don't have to be afraid of Goblin's train anymore. The only thing you have to be aware if somebody zoned a Gigas into your spot, and you're likely to be dead, it happened to me.
And slimes/oozes. You can't even hurt those and they aggro too. I've seen a lot zoned.
No word on what those Giant Clams are for? I've even asked passing-by JP players, and they didn't know.

they are for the Rabao Quest - Chasing Dreams, which rewards the Lv 34 Venerer Ring Acc +3.

I got a funny story,
I was out pting in Korrokala Tunnel today when i happen upon this Jammer leech. Im like "cool whats this thing check?" as i typed in /c i saw to my amazement that is was an NM. I bolted! Someone had zoned it to the Zerun mines end. It started to kill everyone. Including some lvl 50 guy... anyway it took about 30 mins but someone finally killed it. Pretty funny but i had fun^^. btw forget Valkrum, this place rocks lol

Anyone know spawn points of the ??? for the morion worm plz (Help me out!)
If you look at the map at the bottom, I believe its in the area between the two giant clams (The southern part of it). Well at least thats where I think I saw the morion worm pop out right infront of me only to have some guy take it instantly

Nice map, but why did you grey out the grid markers?
They where removed, I believe, because it's several maps pasted together, and the long/lat lines would not line up correctly.
