Vana'diel Bestiary: Za'Dha Adamantking
|  As the Quadav King, Za’Dha controls the entire Quadav army and is the strongest warrior among them. It is thought his reign has lasted over 100 years, but the custom of transferring the Adamantking title to future generations makes this measurement inaccurate and perhaps trivial. Our LS (about 15)took him on last night and, on the second try (tank and 3 others died the first time when we got aggro from Ruby, Darksteel and a couple other of his henchmen), about halfway through we found out that this bad boy has Benediction. Took us about 1/2 hour total and we got some decent drops including Raise III.
We pulled him out of the main area of the Dome and down the ledge on the east side in the corridor leading back into Beaudeaux, If someone was getting too much hate, we simply zoned and came back.
Not terribly hard--took awhile though, just keep everyone who needs it refreshed and the tank healed, watch out for his AOE and be patient.

my ls killed this a few days ago we had only 1 person over 68. Our tank was a 75thf/nin we accidntly pulled it ruby and adaman so we got stomped and had to zone. so we called in some friends and killed it. Then last night err 5 this morning we went to try it again we were doing awsome it was 1/20 of its hp when the smn pulled ruby and adamn and we had to zone we zone back in and king was at full hp we gave up. (we were pulling mobs to build tp with our lower levels the have them do spirits within. It is a good stratigy.)

Was reasonably difficult, simple because we had no refresh >< (have to fight at zone, and therefore no room for both ballad, and mambos ;;). Took about 30 minutes, the Nin died once but we recovered.

Was an interesting day. Me (68WHM), 72DRK, 74THF, and 70RDM were farming in Qulun Dome when this guy spawns. We decide to try it and fail. We get more people down there.

So do the Orcs have a leader like this? I know the yags have Tzee Xicu the Manifest or whatever his name is, and the quads have this guy. So do the orcs have a "god" mob? I checked Davoi's NM list but there weren't any lvl 85 mobs listed in Allakhazam's database
Its overlord Bakgodek, check the mob list for Monastic Cavern instead of davoi. =)

Reading everyones post is telling me this is a easy NM and it gives a great drop... Anyone camp this daily?
My LS stumbled across it by accident and managed to rally the troops and rush to Beadeaux quickly enough to claim and kill it. I wouldn't call it easy, but it isn't too hard either, with the right party (especially with a Bard's Double Evasion Songs).
The thing about camping it daily is that it doesn't spawn every day. I've heard it's a 72-96 hour spawn, popping 21-24 hours after its placeholder is killed. That means everyday a Diamond Quadav (the placeholder) will spawn ~21-24 hours after the previous day's was killed, but every 3 or 4 days, Za'Dha will pop instead. So if you could get a reliable ToD of either the Diamond Quadav or Za'Dha himeself, you could check up on him at the proper time, instead of sitting there for a full 24 hours.
This spawn time pattern is the same for the other two beast gods as well (Yagudo High Priest -> Tzee Xicu the Manifest, Orcish Overlord -> Overlord Bakgodek). Good hunting!

One nin solo tank did it easy. Rumor has it the way to get the club to drop is have a raise 3 scroll in one persons inventory. Tried it (hey it worked)

Took this bad boy down in an hour with 13 lvls 69-72.
It took so long because when his life drops a little past half he used Benidiction (which healed him around 23k of hp), but he went down after that.
Be sure to use alot of att. and str. boosting food over acc. or else most of your attcks will bounce off for 0 dmg.

You can steal a Platinum Beastcoin from him - done so myself.
This HNM can be taken down by 1 PT of 6. They fought it right next to zone so the mages can remove all hate.

The Great axe that Za'dha Adamantking uses is called Zerstorer, I'm not sure how to get it though.

Oy gavolt... I'm never gonna get Raise III ; ;... In any event...I got my Reraise III scroll off of a Goblin Alchemist during a party. Null persperation. The truth of the matter is this: I will not pay 3-5 million for this spell (lol...if I had that kind of gil, I'd get a vermillion cloak), but once I do get it; it will all that I use. I'm well known for going out of my way to do a raise...I'm hoping that generosity will translate into help getting this scroll when the time comes.
verm cloaks are only 3-5 mil on your server?! i just paid 8.1 mil for mine, and thats up over 1 mil from the previous week. even later that week the price went up 500k. i don't know what server your on, but you should be so fortunate.

Well hope to god you ain't on Alexander because all the LS's that are getting this spell have recently jacked the price up over 3 million. Hope you don't die multiple times in Dynamis or HNM's, coz some whm's won't even have this spell post 70.
OK, so does anyone have the location of the Adamant King's spawn point? Also, what is his spawn rate? Is it at a specific time?
raising this spell price is dumb. say a whm cant afford raise 3. then you die. then you want a raise 3. but you cant get one because no whm has it. your gonna be screwed lmao. basically this effects everyone. if you raise the prices you cant get raise 3 neither can anyone else. sure its good for your wallet but not for your time and exp.

It's people like you that make me sick. Your greed only hurts yourself when it comes to needing WHMs due to a death. Sure it helps your wallet, but it doesn't help a single WHM at 70+ whatsoever that needs it.
When you die, especially at higher levels... you ask for a raise 3 more than likely. Let me further explain my point...
Would you rather see the majority of the level 70+ WHMs have this or just some of them? Think about that if you don't want to ever lose much EXP in fights. I wouldn't even give you Raise II if I saw you dead. You're going to lose more EXP than you want with that attitude.
On Asura it used to be a steady 2.5+ mil or so but it has dropped in price to around 1.3 million, which means more WHMs will be able to have it. Plain and simple.
And Reraise III - the version of R3 WHMs can have for themselves - is cheap. That means just about all level 75 WHMs will have it (I'm Lv. 61 and I already have the frickin' scroll).
Enjoy your million gil from selling this to people who actually buy it at those prices, because karma will hurt you. This applies to anyone on Asura as well who has jacked up Raise III's price.
I myself refuse to pay even that much for a scroll. I'd rather fight this mob and get it as well as my WHM testimony.
Simply put, I'd much rather put 1.3 mil (and more) on equipment (a Noble's Tunic for instance, or a Vermillion Cloak...) than a scroll.
That's just my 2 gil...

It's a shame you are so proud of your blatant greed. It's players like you who give NA's a bad name, and the reason that this game has gone to hell in a handbasket ever since NA release. The price history system in the game was built to handle japanese standards of courtesy over greed and community over self, where there are no such virtues here in America. Hope you enjoy your million gil because all I have to say is that karma is a ***** and if you don't think you've contributed to the massive inflation that is destroying the economy on most servers, think again. Killed him today after we accidently popped him while getting BLM testimonies for the blms in LS who needed them.
