i got a /tell from m friend saying that he got JEJ but he was a on his lvl 3 bst so i try to grab a choco forgot i was on my lvl 9/4ranger thief -_- start running to the gates he tells me that he died so i look at Widescan and i track him i finall chatch up to him and put an arrow through his dome almost died when he drop kicked me so i 2hr kill him yey rabbit charm sold it to a JP 71 thief in jeuno for 260k so 1/1 on jack :P ....thanks arv ^^

Last week, my LS was doing a Ronfaure Garrison. So while we're waiting for everyone, I'm off building TP. I see Jack and go for him. This is probably about the 50th time I've killed him. I've got 5 inventory spots left (Since I'm holding my level 35 + my level 20 equipment). Now I'm thinking, unless I get more drops from one mob than I've gotten in all of FFXI history, the charm shouldn't auto-toss. Well guess what happened? 3 Hare meat and 2 rabbit hides before the charm.

- -; Why lie about getting the drop.....how the hell can u get an auto-toss unless ur carrying or wearing a charm already.....>.< items get thrown in a treasure pool if ur slots are full. Don't find BS stories amusing.

The first time, i killed him with my thf friend lvl 45,
He dropped the charm and i gave him to my friend ><
That was the time i didn`t know, how much worth that f...king Item was.
It sells for 300k in Ah (Sandy) on Lakshmi server
Man after that i camped him like 15 times, killed him so many times too, but no charm anymore...; ;

wish i couldve gotten a drop that easyly -.-...im about 0/50 on jack...i camped him about 9 hours straight and killed him about 6 times...i was tired and decided to head back to sandy..then out of nowhere he spawns right infront of me...when i had my dagger out sum1 vokes him off me >< i was soo pissed....then after she killed him i saw she put sumthing in her bazaar...i looked in it and she was selling the charm 4 99,999,999 G....i was like OMFG ; ; shes lucky she voked it

Being from Sandoria myself we all know of this little stingy bunny...and here's about the jest of how stingy he is...camped him MULTIPLE times, nailed him and my record for the drop is 0/15..so now its just more of a grudge match against this little guy than gaining the drop.
The very first week I was playing, I ran into Jack. I was only a lvl 7 RDM and I didn't know what hit me.
Tried camping it not too long ago. I was there 3 hours killing forest hares. It didn't pop once the whole time.

So me and my 2 friends are running thru the woods and i'm /check ing out of boredom since im on /follow. I see this guy and i don't know much about him...so i'm like "WAIT im jus gonna kill this thing quick" then they see what im fighting and theyre like..."OMG OMG OMG!!!!! U LUCKY SH*T!!!" but no drop. Still a nice story hehe

Ok so I was riding a choco past the Jack spawn point, and nothing. I started heading down to Jugner so I can solo with my THF. As I passed the outpost- I see someone fighting that damn wabbit! So I stop to watch, and right from the start it was over. This guy charmed a sheep, and the sheep got served. I dismounted b/c the dude started running away! Honestly there was nothing I could do for him. So, when he died, I voked Jack. A WHM then came and raised him. I got nothing and I told him so, but I felt bad, because I would be upset if someone robbed a NM from me....O do wish this person more luck than I have had with Jack next time (0/10). In the mean time I'm working on TH2 to see if that helps... Here's my info

I don't think you are. If they charmed a sheep then they have beastmaster and should have known their abilities when they attacked Jack.
I personally hate it when someone watches me die if they could have saved me but you couldn't so don't feel bad about it.

how many times do i have to post this? its a lottery pop...kill forest hares as the place holder. geez its not 2 hour or anything like that. ive had it spawn three times in 2 hours and i got the charm while saving some newbie from it. so mr "if you dont have TH2 your a noob" i think that you are completley wrong. if you kill it as a level 10-12 job you have at MOST 50% chance to get the drop. all my LS members who have it killed jack at level 9 as msc jobs. they soloed it... so please enough spreading this "its a 2 hour spawn"
sorry guy, but you defiently do NOT have a 50% chance of getting the drop... i agree the th2 noob thing is over the edge, but it helps alot >.> anyway, with th2 you probly have a 20% chance, lvl does not affect drop rates

This drop is not intended for anyone other than thieves, thats why the drop rate is so little. You need TH2 to get it in a fair amount of kills. Anyone who hunts this is either a 45+ Thief with TH2 or a Noob.

omg that has to be the most moronic thing i have heard "Anyone who hunts this is either a 45+ Thief with TH2 or a noob" First of all this IS a lottery pop meaning you can get it 10 times in 2 hours or once in 2 days. second TH2 is not an instant rabit charm it's all numbers, all TH2 does is boost you're percent of potentially getting the drop. And finally
im hoping you really did know all of this info and you are just scaring away the competion for the drop or you trully are a noob.

Actually Your post is pretty dumb, I doubt you have hunted any NM if you actually think lottery will take 2 days or 10 in 2 hours. Realistically, whether you kill rabits near the spawn does not help, and trust me ive killed jack, lizzy, and emperor more times in the last 10 Months than prolly anyone else on the server. Ive Killed lizzy 43 times in the last 2 months alone.I Still have yet to get jack's drop tho.
If you can read, i said in so many words exactly what you said, TH2 Helps your chances. In fact it helps your chances so much its almost dumb to hunt it without TH2 versus farming, thats of course you know what farming is.

You sir, are a ******. Lizard for lizzy, Flies for Emperor, Rabbits for Jack. They are placeholders, and each time you kill one, one has to be respawned in its place -- This respawn has certain odds of being a regular mob, or the notorious monster, hence, lottery spawn. Technically speaking it is possible to wait 2 days for a spawn, but highly improbable. I have waited up to 7 hours and 30 minutes for Leaping Lizzy to spawn, and I've also only waited 15 minutes for her.

Me and a buddy of mine camped Jaggity for 4 hour straight and then decided to call it a night, seriously when it takes 1/6 of an entire day just to wait for some jackass to spawn; you better have a lot of time to spare on this rabbit. I usually try to kill him once a day but damn never been 4 hours waiting time before. I bet that ******* popped as soon as I logged too. :(
300k around on my server. I put it up at AH, just relisted it..hopefully it will sell.

Well I camped this guy once, and got him w/ no drop.
Yesterday, I was farming sheep for sheephides to level my Leathercraft. I checked widescan, and guess who decides to show up. Anyway he was pretty far away from me. As I started running to where he was when I tracked him, I didn't see him. I figured someone grabbed him.
NOPE! There he was. I started spammming steal, and boom I got him. 5 seconds later someone comes running up and watches me. I kill him, but I had been lagging a little bit. I hit CTRL+I to check my inventory because the chat log didn't show it yet. And there it is - Rabbit Charm!
I was so happy. I got it second kill. I feel so bad for people that are 0/100 on him. O well I have bad luck on Lizzy and Stroper.

Ok so I'm camping Jack for maby 2 days and i c him twice. Missed the first time, but the second time i got him. Used jump once i got close enough and it didn't kill him. I was reluctent to hit him again, tellin everyone in my LS to cross their fingers for me. So now i use high jump. Take him out, happy that i finally got him, but allas no drop. But the thing is a Smn asks me if i got the drop i tld him no and he flips out on me, yellin that i shoulda let him have it than cause he had thf subbed.
Now honestly when did it become a thing to let others just have NM's, first come first serve, like it or leave. :P ^^

but just got thief to 45 last night and loged before server service in West Ron. Gona give it a go again and see if TH2 and alot of luck would get me this charm..but if I dont just beating all the other farmers to him is enough reward and pride for me to keep on going..

sry first time posting and i screwed up. my bad on the double.
Bleh...Saw this for the first time today. Was just randomly running somewhere on a choco from Sandy. Saw this, untaken. Jumped off my choco, but by then it got taken..by a lvl5 war. I stood there, expecting him to die pretty soon, and so did a WHM. I thought I'd be able to get it straight away with voke..but then the guy dies, I go to voke it..and nothing happens >_> I had my macros on the wrong set, as I'd just been levelling drk. So the other guy killed it -_- was only a lvl7, but by then a bunch of other people were there and were curing him. He didnt get any drop though.

I was running from the dunes to sandy to change jobs for my static pt. I was lvling NIN. Got to west ronf. and saw a lvl 9 WHM fighting jack, so I stopped to watch. She was down to about 1/2 health, jack was about 1/2. After spamming cure she obviously ran out of mp. Used benediction. jack was down to just a sliver of health when he used rabbit kick and took out the whm. I spammed my voke macro trying to beat out the 10 or so people hovering over it. I got first voke and just let it pound on me for a while, to rub it in all their faces ^_^
Took one hit to kill it. Got the drop.
Also went from lvl 43-51 in that day ^^

ok ive been hunting this rabbit for a couple day's now ive missed him 4 times 3 of wich the people got the drop -_- i got hime 3 times in the last 3 days with no drop realy pisses me off lol he seems to spawn near the cliff (h-9) more often than not and the spawn rate for me has been 3-5 hours while killing other rabbits dont know if it affects it or not but you know got try and the lights day 50% moon realy does seem to affect it lvl12 whm no sub got it and was like "whats a rabbit charm" -_- although you know she might have just goten that 1% chance of geting it lol another reason i hate this rabbit first mob to kill me when i started playing this FF11 so i need my revenge the only thing that will sate it his precious charm >:( .... arrr ill get you jack

DOH!!!!!!!
revenge will be sweet. oh yes, sweet i say.

i was passing by in ronfaure with my level 13 bst/whm ... i saw him... i was surprised to see him ^^ i used Dia on it and engaged him :) ... he was very easy ... but no drops :( i only got a slice of hare meat

I'm on Cerberus, the sleepy server, no one ever camps jack, there has been 4 sales in San D'oria of his charm since 2003. Jeuno most likely sells them all. Having this charm just to say you have it would be find and great. But a high level Thf should not bother camping JeJ for the sale. 50+ Thf's belong in Oztroja, otherwise it is only but a waste of time.
