Sometimes the first group and last group of Rock Lizards will not exist on your widescan depending on where you stand and how big your widescan range is... Respawn time for Rock Lizards is 5 minutes earth time so once you kill a PH, set a 5 min timer. I would recommend that when you are camping LL, go in a party with 2 members, since LL have a chance to spawn either at the upper floor or at the lower one (regardless of which PH was killed...)
With two members you can each take a PH to make it easier to keep track of the pop window for each PH. Happy hunting! Here's my story.
I'm a 12THF/MNK and I desperately want Bounding Boots so I can be a good party memeber. I start camping and I run around killing lizards and the like.
I even manage to grow a level! I see Lizzie pop a little while ahead. Unfortunately for me so does someone on a chocobo. They stop, evidently having selecetly dismount and attack, so I charge at it. Absolutely spamming my steal macro to high hell.
HOORAY I get the claim. A few trusty minutes later I see myself staring at my bar at the bottom.
"You defeated Leaping lizzy." - Yes, yes I know that. Gimme boots!!!!!
"You obtained 45 experiance points" - I don't give a ****. COME ONNNNN.
I assumed this next one was taking a while. Until I read the following message.
"(Character name) starts casting cure on Nuclearbuddah"
Followed by:
"Nuclearbuddahs eyes brim over with tears"
No drop for me. But I'll be here until I get em. I'm on Hades. Take care.

Finally!!! I got my Boots after 5 days of camping 28 claims and kills i finally got the frikking boots!
Im kinda surprised that i claimed it when it droppped there were like 2 RNG"s lvl 75 a THF 70 and a **** load of other high people not moving a muscle.But meh i got him anyway^^

Ok this sucks i been camping this NM for like 3 days and i'm 0/17 with TH THF/RNG,i almost always get the claim but never the stinking drop ; ;

lol yall fools aint got nothing i see it all tha time have engaged it over ten times and died as i only see tha damn thing when im level sevenish yet i have spent countless hours with mah 45+rdm training all lizzies and killing at once and until last night (when it spawned right next to me as i was resting now with 50 rdm)have yet to see it let alone kill it asuming i get drop which i desperatly need for my ninja whoes sole purpose is infultrating promyavilians but after update im back on it and as far as gillsellers go its a thirty minuet pwlv to fifteen and then to thirty on a new account which can be bought i asume tha same as they sold on battle.net i detest gillsellers and if you are one reading this know this if you take a NM from me you will know a fate worse any that lucifer himself could not even fathom i will create and delete charachters with tha sole purpose of following you around cybapimpslaping you your every playing hour and that can get annoying fast you know you suck i know you suck everyone hates you and your making a very enjoyable game extremly agrivating GET A REAL !@#$'n JOB. lol ok im done srry got into a sadistic state but as tha before mentiond incident ll was mine i stood up dia already casting and ******* pulled it with voke. ohhhh lol /slap /slap /slap :P kk im outie good luck to those who like need it i hope you get drop and if your on carbuncle and wanna team up my char name is Dacybapimp so send a tell or message and soon i hope to start a team to help ppl with promy and with tha exception of holla which is hella expensive ta do wont even charge :D

Ummm... Im 57 and I got them 2 times in a day. I dont believe droprate is affected by the claimers level.
I dunno what all you guys are doing were your 0/10 etc...
The day after Christmas I decided to camp LL for my Leaping Boots as my THF was around level 15. I was at camp maybe 20 mins when I saw LL on scan and ran to her and claimed and got drop.
On Saturday, I had been on a "NM killing spree" starting in Windy and working my way across the country for roughly 14 hours straight. I decided to go grab some Bounding Boots for my PLD and any other low level job I felt like leveling since I had my Leaping upgraded to Winged awhile back. I was at LL camp for around 10-15 mins and saw it pop on scan and ran to mob, claimed, and got drop. I then proceeded to Vomp Hill and got Carnero shortly after for that nifty Great Katana.
About an hour later, a friend from my LS asked me to help him get some boots. We get like 3other friends from the LS and go to LL's camp. Needless to say I was there and managed to get claim and drop in about 15 minutes.
I cant say how the droprate is on her, as Im 3/3. I dont wear anything that helps boost TH, so maybe Im just lucky with the drop. I DID however notice that LL pops around every 30 minutes now. Seems her pop timer was decreased in the update...

Got my bounding boots today. It was 8:00 a.m EST on a sunday and no one was there. Camped for an hour or so saw him on WS and got the drop. I even had time to take a screen shot of unclaimed lizzy (rare). I am happy

OK, for all you campers that randomly kill rock lizards as they pop, DON'T DO THAT, instead, let one person train every rock lizard around LL spawn area, I counted 17 when it worked for me, and kill them all at the same time with an AoE, LL will pop with the next group of lizards if it was done right. Last night i camped for 1hour and 20 mins and i got LL to pop 4 times, so if you see someone training lizards Dont get mad and yell at them for delaying LL spawn cuz they are trying to make her spawn VERY soon. Good Luck getting your bounding boots, I am 0/5 so far...
P.S.- I am pretty sure there is another post somewhere in the forums about this already but hey, just a reminder XD

2/5 Post-update, 2nd boots I helped a friend get it.
Spawn time seemed to remain unchanged. Unsure about the drop rate, for obvious reasons.
Camped it with 25THF/12RNG. There are less people than before, but someone is always there.

I can't remember exactally how long it took but I camped LL and got the claim twice. First no drop, but the socond time drop... too bad I lost the lot /cry

AFTER update true gs have no reason to camp it but now u get 10 - 15 people camping it at a time insted of 5 - 7 is it worse on n e other server?

Finally got my Bounding Boots tonight... was 0/1 pre-update. I was lucky if I could ever even see LL let alone get close enough to claiming it. But since the update, it seemes like LL is mine every time I see it. But today, popped right in front of me twice within an hour. And every time its been to the south of the big rock... right where people used to stand on that little rock cluster. I don't know if thats normal or just when I happen to get it.
Sadly though I actually had the same two Tarutaru cheering me on... to DIE!. Not my fault that my DRG used his handy Jump to reach LL before they did. I had a vulture in tow that I had just started attacking, LL pops, then disengaged the vulture, target LL, hit the jump marco, a double thrust, a few hits from me and my pal Buster, and "Oaf obtained a pair of Bounding Boots". I was able to hold my head high with my "die oaf" fan club all examining me as I strolled away.

Has anyone gotten the drop since the change... cause everyone seems to have sob stories about these new boots
