Sometimes the first group and last group of Rock Lizards will not exist on your widescan depending on where you stand and how big your widescan range is... Respawn time for Rock Lizards is 5 minutes earth time so once you kill a PH, set a 5 min timer. I would recommend that when you are camping LL, go in a party with 2 members, since LL have a chance to spawn either at the upper floor or at the lower one (regardless of which PH was killed...)
With two members you can each take a PH to make it easier to keep track of the pop window for each PH. Happy hunting! Before they changed it to Bounding Boots, I camped this thing for about 3-4 hours. In my last hour, it spawned twice, and I got the drop both times. Full moon, TH1 (lvl 37thf) My friend held the first pair when I camped her the second time and got them... i' 2/2 and never going back. By the way, does she still drop Leaping Boots? Or is it only Bounding now? I've heard two different stories.
I camped this for an hour amongst several other players last week. It spawned on the lower part of the hill near the path, I was rdm/blm at the time and it dropped the bounding boots.

I'm 0/13 on Leaping Lizzy post-update. Camped as 45THF/RNG for two days, almost non-stop. Getting claims were no problem, but drops were impossible. Even with TH2 and a full moon, even a spawn being on 100% full moon, no drop. Haven't seen one drop at all the whole time I was there.
Needless to say, I gave up. Did they change the drop rate on the bounding boots?

I am 0/5 on her. ME and a friend were camping, 5 hour spawn no drop. I left to Vomp Hill for Carnero and then my friend /shouts YES!!!! I GOT THEM!! I GOT THE BOOTS!!! That got me mad, but today i will be getting my pair.. and maybe the emp pin^^

Well I was 0/1 with Lizzy before the patch so I decided to go camp her the other day as my 58 whm (needed the boots for 38 rng and 25 thf). Like I figured there was no one out there but me and one other person. I killed some Rock Lizards and Lizzy spawns, I get her no problem. Kill her, no drop. So This makes me 0/2 with Lizzy. I then go to the dunes and camp the emp. After about 5 hours (Yes 5 hours no one killed him) he spawns and some newb war gets him. So now that im really mad I go back to S.Gustaberg to try Lizzy one more time. I kill another set of Rock Lizards and she spawns for me again. I get her again, no drop again! So now I am 0/3 with Lizzy. The point to this post is this. I think the lowered Lizzy's spawn time. But if you ever camp her, sub thf unlike I did :/ What can I say other then next time im going as whm/thf. Well anyway happy hunting everyone, I feel much better now that I shared the story of my evil day.

Fastest possible spawn is 5 minutes, which I've seen several times. Longest I've ever seen (keep in mind I've killed her 160 times now, and of course, I missed a few claims here and there) is 6 hours. I've heard of 8 or 9 hour spawns, but I honestly don't believe it. I think the people just missed a spawn in-between or something. It's rare for a spawn to go over 3 hours. Average is probably 1.5 hours.

Amen Brother! lol I myself have hunted Leaping Lizzy my fair share, and like you I am the owner of Leaping Lizzy on Fenrir... well was, I'm offically retired now lol. Also like you i am not a gil seller. I actually sort of taught two other ppl in one of my linkshells how to hunt so we could successfully run off the gil sellers.
Needless to say I totally agree with you on the spawn times and such, I have never seen a spawn time go over 5.5 hrs, and the quickest she can spawn is literally 5 mins, cus that is the respawn time on the lizards if you kill them.

i camped for like 2 and a half hours before it spawned... Of course i didnt get the claim

I can confim 26 min spawn time on Lizzy 5:05 and 5:30 spawns

I've camped Lizzy on several occasion. I'm 0\4 on drops, and I've seen her about 10 times, but didn't get the claim.
When I had a DRG friend helping me (He tried to force pop, I spammed WS) we got it 3 times. The 1st time we waited 1 hour, then it seemed like she popped within the next ten minutes, then another 30 minutes.
I had TH2, and he had TH...but of course it's not like it's going to help ><. And this was before the update to.

My friend who has my Leapers is always AFK bazaaring or temporary logged out, so I decide to go and get some Bounders. I noticed after a while a big group of lizards in an area weren't being killed, so I go do that. When I'm finished Lizzy is spawned on the opposite end of me. âŒ_⌠So I Flee over and it was just recently claimed by the time I got there. -.- At least I know my competition isn't that good.
On another note, has the drop rate changed? Because it's disappointing to have TH2 and not have it affect your drop. ;-;

the respawn time is still 1-5 hours, for 2 different lizards maybe if it pops then 1 hr later again then another maybe , cuz then its a 50% chance , but all day would be possible but rare!

I am 0/11 with LL before update, and that was with TH. I spent easy over 20 hours camping this damn lizard back in the day with nothing to show for it. I am hearing that the spawn time is a lot shorter now with those new bounding boots, is this true?
Everyone seems to be talking about how once people get their boots, campers for LL (not to mention VE) will go down over time so that it will be easy to get the claim, and subsequently the drop. The logic behind this is that once people have the boots, they will never have to camp them again and will be leaving all future pops to other players.
Unfortunately, people seem to fail to remeber that the old boots were "Rare" and thus, once a players purchaced a pair from the AH a single time, they would never have to buy another pair. However, the gilsellers have constantly had a market for these boots at astronomical prices, which leads me to believe that time will not decrease the level of demand for the bouding boots (several pair a day). In addition, the fact that anyone wanting to use these boots with multiple players on the same account must now earn multiple boots may even increase the demand and camping.
Luckily we do have two rays of hope for those of us salivating over the chance to finally strap on a pair of great boots: 1) The competition for LL will now be ametures instead of the professional gilsellers who seemed to have her claimed before you even knew she popped, and 2) There is a possibility that the new way to obtain sellable "Leaping Boots" will be simple enough as to flood the market, cutting demand for each individual version of the boots.

also remember that leaping boots are used to make winged boots, so there will always be a demand for new LB, a loss from failed attemptes to make WB and the demand for new WB.

I expect the prices of Leaping boots and Emperor hairpin to stabilize and then skyrocket again. Think about it. Eventually people will realize that its cooler to have the extinct old gear than the new rare/ex ones. People buy them out and because there are no new ones entering the market, supply plummets. prices go way high.
