Sometimes the first group and last group of Rock Lizards will not exist on your widescan depending on where you stand and how big your widescan range is... Respawn time for Rock Lizards is 5 minutes earth time so once you kill a PH, set a 5 min timer. I would recommend that when you are camping LL, go in a party with 2 members, since LL have a chance to spawn either at the upper floor or at the lower one (regardless of which PH was killed...)
With two members you can each take a PH to make it easier to keep track of the pop window for each PH. Happy hunting! By the way the spawn time is still random as before and the boots are not 100% drop rate. So dont think because gil sellers are gone that it will be so easy for everyone to get it right away. No Sir.
Its says with Mob Info that it drops Leaping Boots & Bounding Boots is this true? that u can get the rare ex one and the rare one?

If you go to the PoL site you can read more about how they updated these mob's, but to answer your question... Yes, according to S/E they wanted to give players a chance to get the Rare/ex. boots along with the boots to sell so you could keep a pair for yourself.

According to what PoL site said exactly, no you cannot get the leaping boots off of lizzy anymore.
The way that the following items are acquired has been changed:
Archer Ring, Leaping Boots, Emperor Hairpin, Peacock Charm
In addition, players may receive an EX/Rare or EX item with the same attributes from the monsters who previously dropped each of the above items.
There is nothing there about any kind of addition to original, simply a new item on lizzy, and old item is aquired differently.

Well after a long 2 hour wait for the lizzy yesterday I lost the claim. As soon as I decided to log out of the game, while saying goodbye to my fellow ls members I decided to take one last scan just for the hell of it. BAMM!! BOOOM!! BAMM!! Leaping Lizzy.
Funny thing is it spawned at almost 5 seconds remaining to log out and it spawned next to me although i saw it in scan :). Anyhow, I didnt bother running to it because I already waisted time getting up off my knees. I tossed out my boomerang and I claimed it. Just after claim another mithra fleeing from God knows where pop up next to me lol (whew).
I closed my eyes while fighting it and had my fingers crossed on both hands while praying "Please God Please God Please God". Then BAM BOOM BAMM BOOM!! I got lizard tail and bounding boots. Tossed the boots and kept the tail...riiiight j/k.
So i left never waiting to see that place ever again. Goodbye to all the other 7 or 8 campers that were there and good luck.

Hmmm I have to say most people are happy with this update because it prevents gil sellers from sitting around and taking the mob every time. I think your just upset because you used this as a source of gil now you have to find a way to get it that will actually take some time and or talent.
oh and yes I camped this mob before the update just for boots, not to sell but to actually use.

So far, all i've heard is a 100% drop rate on the bounding boots? Can anyone confirm or deny this?
I know a friend who killed it 3 times (of my knowledge) and no drop at all. with TH2 btw

Lizzy now drops Bounding Boots. I was the only person in South Gustaburg, so I killed Lizards for 20 minutes, got Lizzy, got the drop.
Renue- Gratz on the new boots! Any chance we could see a screenshot of 'em? ;) I think a lot of people would love to see them!

It was not meant to be a source of income. People like you are the reason they changed it. I am, for one, glad they altered it and would have preferred that they made all NM drops Rare/EX to eliminate campers and Gil Sellers. I don't think anyone cares that you steal this from people for your own self gain or that you spew racial slanders and lewd language. So for all I'm concerned, good job SE!

this drop rate is really bad although on one day i ended up going 4/6 (best day ever) now my total is 12/79 -_-
As per the update on July 18, Leaping Boots are no longer dropped by Leaping Lizzy. There is a new item instead that is EX that she drops with the same stats.

man this NM is gay....i never get the drop of this ????er im now 0/24 on this thing....THIS SUCKS!!!!man my freind camped it and got the drop first time....

I have camped LL more times than i can remember now. Her pop time is lottery and i have seen it as soon as 10mins till 3:15mins. In Migardsormr she isnt too heavily camped which is great for me since she was my primary Gil fountain. I camp her with THF30/RNG (Thank god for Flee^^) boots are always around 800-900k here.

Ok, so I have read a lot of stuff on this forum, some of which may make sense, but the rest is c***. I decided to put up a few tips for those who would like to camp lizzy. I will not try to conjure up some secret way to force her to spawn...there isn't one. Lizzy is a LOTTERY SPAWN, meaning that you have to kill the placeholder Rock Lizards in the area, and she MIGHT pop in place of one of those next time. So, here are a few tips for anyone who wants to try...it's what has worked for me the few times i've gone out to camp.
1) Don't spam widescan - If you decide to clear all the lizards in the area, go ahead. While they are all there, Lizzy won't be there until MAYBE the next time they spawn, so go ahead and train the lizards and kill them all. Then, proceed to check your widescan once you notice the lizards are respawning. If you don't want to clear them all, and there is nobody else killing lizards, a valid technique is to only kill lizards around you. That way, you can limit her available spawn points to the ones near you. This isn't great, however, as by only killing a few, the chances of here popping are reduced.
2) Use an instant pull ability when you see her. Personally, I use Charm, since there is virtually no delay on that ability, and since you can't charm an NM, you will just **** her off and take her aggro, thus claiming her. You can also use Provoke, or, if you are a mage use Poison or Dia. If you wish, you can use good ol' ranged attack, but that is too easy for someone else to beat.
3) Don't assume that since she was killed, she won't be back for a while. Last night, some campers got her, then left after the kill. There were about 7 of us camping her, and as soon as she was killed, they all left, while me and my buddy stayed. She popped 43 minutes later and we claimed her - no drop, though. Then, we decided to wait again and she popped again about 30 minutes later - still no drop. Then, about 20 minutes after that kill, the same people who had been camping before came back, no realizing that we had claimed her twice while we were gone. Took almost 2 more hours for her to pop again after that last one.
4) Remember that everyone has a fair chance at getting her. Sure, there are botters and gilsellers camping her all the time, but they have no more chance at getting her than you do. More often than not, I have stolen her from these people.
5) Have fun - Keep in mind that this is only a game. If someone else takes her, congratulate them - don't assume they are a gilseller. Would you want them to assume you are, too? I've met a few really nice people after they claimed lizzy, I struck up a little conversation with them. Be courteous and it will make camping a lot more enjoyable.

i have never seen here pop outside of F-8. I have noticed that she does tend to pop in the corners more often than anywhere else in that grid, most times top right. Hope this helps

the 3 minute pop is the one most likely to drop..
i killed her 11 times and got drop once, camped it for 3 days straight.
o and on valefor usually pops every 30 min 10:00-12:00 and never spawns on watersday nor darksday..
