I'm now 5/29 on this NM. But i was wondering if anyone knew the place holder. I'm pretty sure it's either the Heralds or the Interigators. But I'm not exactly sure. Anyone know, care to share?

I think one of the reasons why many people dont even get the drop is because they dont even care to get th1. I found pointless how many people go hunt this nm without th1, this drop is so freaking rare and on top of that you have people camping the mee deggi without th1!
Is just an opinion but you if you all trying to get this drop u may wanna reconsider sub thf with th1 (lvl15) otherwise your just wasting your time. But you never know theres always a lucky one, just dont waste ur time expecting to be the lucky one.... GET TH1!

I'v got this drop 5 times without TH1...
just thought id share, im currently 5/6 on this guy as a 75pld/37war. Just proof you dont need TH1 as long as you can get the claim.
if youre on rag, Chfilygril and Johannajunwei got kicked, and many others like logitech, and Hpc, and the new gilseller crew that popped up

woah woah woah ur kidding me logitech is on ur server to, he was on gilgamesh then all of a suddon dissappeared before the 800 ppl got kicked now he reappears on ur server thats weird ><

Idk y but when i camp him im the only person who camps him but when i camp him he never spawns i kill every yag in the area but he still doesnt spawn...

the price of this has gone up 400k in last 2 days on the asura server! BAH, that's crap! same with other NMs such as leaping lizzy, 2 weeks ago i sold my boots for 700k, they are 900k right now.....

KILL THE GILSELLERS, this is very hard to do, but anyone who knows how to, BE my guest.
What you do is this......you see them camping it, not moving, most likely they have a /targetnpc macro, so what you need to do, is find someone who is at a very high lvl to go in deeper and pull some yags that would own someone lvl 50 and under.
Train those yags to where the gilsellers are, then d/c yourself! come back, and they are dead!
THEN WE ARE ALL HAPPY!

Imo It's only half the gilsellers fault that the prices are raising. I also blame the idiot's who are to lazy to camp or farm the mobs and are more then willing to pay 1 mil for an emp pin 1.5 mil for these kote and 800k for leaping boots.
im 1/8 on Mee Deggi now and 2/7 on Dommi but i dont see why it takes you all so long to make it pop i get it to pop within 1.5 hours each time....5 hours? thats insane. Its selling for 1mil now on Fenrir(the kote) fuma kyahan sells for around 600k.

update: (if you dont already know this/if its already here) a friend told me it pops every 2 hours EXACTLY... and 12 before 2hours, i saw a gilseller run off and kill one..could this be true? and btw, kote is 1.2mil on ragnarok :3
I'v been wanting to start hunting this guy for a while. And i'm 1/1 on him now. Me and my friend were killing time and decied to go get him. when we got to the castle my friend told me to go look for Mee Deggi while he went and checked the other NM. When i got there the place was empty and then i got a messege from my friend saying all the gil sellers were at his NM i did a quick run around the area and he was standing there unclaimed. I claimed him and thought he would kick my *** when he Hundred fisted me but i used Perfect Dodge and now by the time my friend came he just had to use Drain once and he died. Was sweet we got the drop and even sweeter the gil sellers weren't there

i never been castle oztroja before also i don't know where it spawn ,and i need it for my ninja very bad. can anyone plz help me.

I just want to know when This web site will update the size of the NMs spawn areas; I have seen This NM spawn where the water and the side of the castle meet; one of the local gil sellers on my guild claimed it, of course, but I do know that he spawn in a much larger area then just that one little island.

hi first time post here. im a 43 monk on sylph server. i wanted the kotes so badly but i cant even solo the place holders in the room. while i was camping yesterday i met a guy named mohamed there and he saved my life a couple of times cause yags linked. I told him i wanted a pair more than anything. as i camped i got aggro a lot. then i zoned to the alter room on my way back i see a big crowd . Mohamed was fighting Mee Deggi the Punisher . he sent me an invite we owned that over grown chicken. then we got the kote drop i cant belive my eyes. then he said lot on it . he passed and i finally got my kote. icant belive he just passed a 1 millon gill item that he totally deserved. i put on mt kotes and Liyimeng Lihongbin xiat kxt and a bunch of gill sellers where so jealous of us.
I just want to thank you again Mohamed and dont worry when i get mnk af gloves ill send the kotes back and you can sell them.

Update.. I am now 0/9 on this NM >_<
Spent 5 hours camping him last night, with no spawn. I only saw one gilseller run in for a while and leave. The first two hours I was all alone in there. 4 Quu Domi kills with 0 kyahan, and no mee deggi.
I really can't understand how SE is combating gilselling by nerfing the spawns and drop rates. You can say what you want about the "voke-bots", but at least the people with voke bots didn't jack the price up to 1.1mil

I just killed him ^^ my first time camping him, Puall and Lilro from Unicorn were both there, they are infamous gil sellers on our server. i was fighting a yagudo, and he popped right in front of me ^^ i switch targets and Chi Blasted him, he went down real quick im a 61mnk. Only got Impact Knuckles ; ; next time i will get kote!
yeah I beat them last night twice. Earlier today Moodcn and Resegirl were there too, and Puall and Lilro weren't even online. Well I got both NM's within 10 minutes of eachother and Moodcn and Resegirl left, no drops though.
botters are on this nm like bums on a ham sandwich on siren server so for a little man vs. machine showdown im always up for hunting this nm send a /tell if you'de like to hunt this nm

hahahah and what is this stuff about you cant camp mee deggi and live at 46 ~_o i started camping him at 44 all by myself true enough it wasnt easy but I've only died twice my whole careeer of camping this ******* and they were both at low lvls hmm and as for the crap about everyone needs kotes as a DD or they r worthless ... BS!!!! we mnks catch enough **** from ppl who like to start rumors and i promise you that we can dish out dmg just as good as any drk if not better plus we are more accurate and besides drk is depressing to b around cuz they wear dark colors wouldnt you rather b next to a nice "go gett'em" mnk instead <nods> yes you would ^^

holy crap this is bull I'm 0/12 on mee deggi and all my friends are like "dude wtf did you do for god to make you so unlucky" I mean how come everyone else is like 1/3 or 1/8 BS!!!!!! but uhh yea SE has really messed with mee deggi and quu domi spawns theres no way to predict the spawn anymore because SE makes a new spawn schedule every day the placeholder crap isnt even working anymore >< the good thing is that the gillers scared almost everyone away so its usually just me and Dadio hunting him and then on the quu spawn its me Dadio and Darong weee im chillin with gillers -__- even with /thf this is still one of the worst drop rates ive ever seen heh oh yea did i mention SE has mad it to where mee deggi only drops once a day yea thats another "genious plan" to stop the gillers but all they've done is mess me up .... kotes are about 680k now and my *** isnt buyin anyone on Titan server I'd really appreciate it if you'd help me out with this >.> hmm say maybe a thf with treasure hunter 2 ^^

hey i got two questions >.> im kinda new to NM hunting and brand new to hunting kote. i was just wondeeing what is his spawn time and what is his drop rate? anyone know? oh....one more thing...i feel stupid asking this but does NM spawn in the northern or sothern chamber? they both look the same to me.

the spawn is 1-2 hours most of the time thats with killing the yags in room, and he spawns in the northern chamber

Hi its me again, was hunting for kotes again today and figured something out if U EVER HUNT HIM he spawns at the cornors of the little donut pond so go get a friend and kill all of the yags in room place holder or not and when the botters come in (if they didnt leave then it should be about every hour this way) sit at the cornors and he should pop soon have ur friend sit at one cornor and u sit at the other, the ones without the doors u should get atleast one kill in all the time that you are there.
I'd just like an outside opinion, could I survive this room and the trip into it as 50BLM/18WHM? I feel fairly optimistic about being able to handle Mee Deggi, if I can claim him, but not sure about links. The 1mil+ gil the sell rate is upto on Bismarck is tempting, but the first set of kote I keep for MNK and SAM, maybe a second set would go towards Brown Belt & Jujitsu Gi...make that second, third, fourth, and maybe fifth set, no way could I ask 1 mil for kote since I obviously refuse to pay it.
On a side note, just who is buying these? Monks are unloved by most partys (for reasons that are untrue), and thus there aren't many (on my server anyway); I don't see how they are advantageous to a ninja due to the evasion loss; and I have never seen a Samurai with these (or ninja for that matter). I've been in a 2 Monk party a few times (as 1 of the monks, of course), and only once has the other monk (a Galka) had these...they served to balance out the damage between us because his armor was otherwise very bland (soil gi and such) while mine was high on STR+ (enough to make my meager Mithra STR higher than my very good DEX...well, after food effect). When I say "balance out" I mean we did about the same damage per hit (I hit quite a bit more often though).
On a side note, just who is buying these? A ninja would use the kote, the -eva can be balanced out with an emp. hairpin. also any sam/mnk worth there salt would have this, mainly since they need as much damage output as they can get.
Personally I have never seen a sam/mnk. I don't think it is a very good combo is the reason. Sam/thf, sam/war, and Sam/rng are the way to go if u ask me...
By SAM/MNK I think he meant SAM or MNK, not SAM/MNK, could be wrong though, I doubt it.
Heyas~ I camped Mee Deggi three times today, and was 2/3 on claims and 0/3 on drops. But what I'm wondering is if anyone has noticed a connection between Mee Deggi and Quu Domi the Gallant (Fuma Kyahan NM).
The reason I ask this is because my friend Strym noted that on the 3rd time camping Mee Deggi that he had spawned after Quu Domi was killed, and that they had both spawned in the same corner of their respective rooms.
Is there a connection between the 2 NM?

Well I am about to go camp him with my monk. I need these gloves as Im sure almost all of us do lol. But im lvl 46 mnk. I dont know if I can take but i guess i will find out today.

u cannot take the place holders in the room u might ne able to take the NM but 2 yags link and your dead i tryed it at 46MNK and died came back at 50 and had no problem with the place holders so dont bother it 46 unless u have a mage on hand
