i am wondering if SE can do a "fake" pop of NMs that are constantly camped by GS bots. since they use other things to find if NM pops besides seeing it could SE make a non existant mob(invisible or not targetable by normal means) that acts as Mee Deggi and then catch them that way? just put it in once a month and if it is attacked they can catch them. i am no expert on computers and forgive me if this will not work at all just trying to be creative

Actually, I forget what server but someone made a mule named Iselltehgils and put fake gil prices in their search comment, had a friend call a GM and actually got sent to jail.

i really am tired of reporting rivecent. I saw all the accounts get banned recently, came to camp. low and behold, rivecent is sitting in the same spot i've seen him warp>voke from 15 times (reported each time, same response as as above).
serriously, can we ban the hardcore GS's along with the ones in Sky? (i hate holybaby, show up right as ulli pops.)

i heard about all the accounts getting banned, so i travel to castle to camp tonight. what is the first thing i see? ricevent in the exact same spot i saw him warp out of 15 times (reported each time) to claim NM. i said to my LS, "i guess only the mid-level gillsellers get ban'd"

I used to camp this NM back in January of this year before the GS bots came and ruined this NM completely (normal GS were cool tbh added a bit of challange and kept a lot of competition away). Since the Special Task Force Groups come about though the GS bots have more or less vanished thank god. Anyway, back then it was a timed lottery PH spawn, but i belive its now changed to a timed spawn (at least i stopped seing the bots run after PH's). Can anyone confirm this for me and perhaps give me his re-pop time, i think its 1.15hr - 1.30hr spawn window from last ToD but could be waay off as i camped last night for nearly 2 hrs and saw no sign of him.
As for the guys asking for drop rates, back when I used to camp him my drop rate was 1/7 no sub thf, no thf assisting, no other "lucky charm" help. Looking to get another to fund for a SH for my Mnk now :)

ok so im at drk lvl 60 and the I have my sights on the Haubergeon, but that 2 mil won't be easy to make. So i read up on this Nm and decided to try to camp him. When I got there and saw my first pop i knew I prolly didn't ever have a chance to get these. the RMT just claimed it to fast, cheating im sure. So third pop since i get there RMT gets claim and starts fighting, but they arent hitting much and Deggi's getting a lot of hits in. He pops Hundred Fists (mee deggi) and low and behold when the RMT cures themselves they aggro an elemental. long story short, RMT dies I grab claim, no drop. Damn.
So anyway 2 days later i search the reigon, 1 person found in this area. woot woot RMT banned. I arrive in Castle O at Mee Deggi pop spot. No comp. pops beside me on platform, no drop :( Damn.

Again no comp, so I stroll over and voke, easy fight for DRK60, I kill it, eagerly await results of drop; "You find a pair of Ochiudo's Kote on Mee Deggi the Punisher." and even more indescibably beautifal, "Nanick obtains a pair of Ochiudo's kote."
I run to jeuno put em' on AH 2.1 mil, next morning they sold, and i was the new proud owner of a Haubergeon.
Now i just need Amemet Mantle+1, Chivalrous chian, Potent belt, Assult earring, woodsman ring, victory ring, bomb core, hopefully ill get lucky some more....... well damn 4-5 rmt's always there. 0/6 Quu Domi since then, 0/0 Mee Deggi, i just cnt beat the damn RMT to the claim, thank u

Anyone know this dudes drop rate? I've been able to claim him almost everytime i go but the damn thing won't drop the Kote. Plz tell me lol i wanna get out of this place with the gloves in my pocket.

I really don't know the Droprate but TH2 helps much and Mighty Rabbit Tail and Four Leaf Mandy too, try to have a THF in your Party or have /thf with Lucky Items. Once i get this Drop because i hade a THF60 in PT but he Lot it away.

Elementals only aggro to magic use. An Elemental could con IT++ and won't aggro someone by any other means than magic use.

One who patroll every 1houres around, and disapears 5min befor NM pops.
Is there really no Idea? I Camp now 3 Weeks there and Amiability,Handsome, Hunteadrk and other taking every claim, its not fair, i need only 1 Ochuido Kote to make some Money for PLD Stuff, thats all, and because of them its nearly impossible.
SE should take an Eye on this Place. Maybe make the Item only Rare or Ex, so that they can only have 1 at the same Time. Or Put a Yagodo Conductor in.

SE should put a Elemental LVL 50-60 in, so all BOT who are AFK should get Aggro and get Killed and every Player who is On Board will move away from Elemental, and the Elemental should move everywhere and Spawn maybe all 60 Minutes.
Would that get much Gilsellers and 3th party Tools Users away?
Or is it better to make the Item Rare/Ex ?
The Item would be fine to Sell it and than to Buy some good Stuff.

I called just 21.10.06 because of Dragonk, because it whas impossible to see of his Position the NM and he used Flee that whas faster than i see ever befor, in the act of Flee he used the MNK Ability Chi-Blast. My Brother play MNK/THF and he say its impossible to do that, the Charakter will stop bye use Chi-Blast, but thisone run to NM without a Stop. So i gived the GM Date, Time, Area, Position, NM, Nickname Player, and Anomaly.
Hope he will be Terminated if he is a GS or using 3th Party Tools

Ok, its now 2 Weeks ago and Dragonk, Handsome and some other are still there. Well im sure they use 3th Party Tool's or Programms, they don't move for 1h, when they move, than only to get maybe a better Position for the Run and Claim.
NM pop, Dragonk uses automaticly Flee( a special Flee to me), in the Akt of Flee he shoot a Chi- Blast without a stopp or something, EVEN SON GOKU can't do that ^^. He beat him and run to the Tunnel where he got a D/C, after ca 50 min all GS and Toolusers are back to Position, and that Day by Day.
It would help much if there is a Spawnpositionsystem, so that i can know where it will pop at next. I tryed to kill a Yag's on the Eastside together with the PH and checked if he will spawn by the empty Place. I just studie this at the moment but need more Time for that. A Familyfather don't have so much Time to play so, i do it step by step.
Please just help out if you have the same Problem on Midgardor.... or /tell Trunks to make a Alliance against TOOLuser and GS.

Dragonk is OUT, Banned, kicked in the ***, Happyslaped, there where more Player like me who called Game master, and it works.
But some new are there, Hunteadrk maybe the same, but he is also under Controlle.

nope, last i checked hes still teamed up with handsome >< they just both hit flee the second it spawned next to my friend, so if you see them there be on your gaurd and ready to claim, wish me luck, ill need it ><

omfg on our sever theres hapyan and vuvucant or sumthing camping this one, hapy hasnt been there in awhile but i think theres a few more, same deal, it makes me so mad cause i need these so bad! i got claim on it once by myself and a friend helped me get another one but no drop, thats only cause it spawed near us,

If some one looks like they are cheating report what you see. Usually GM's are pretty skeptical but they still check. That Dragonk guy was there while I was camping the o kotes... some RMT named

One of the things they do in certain camps (this one being a classic example) is to use a .dat swap to change the graphic of Mee Deggi to something King Behemoth. I'm sure you've seen this before where people change their Moogle in Mog House to Lion or anything else they might like.
But what this actually does is make the NM visble from anywhere in that area. You say it's impossible for him to see the NM from where he was standing? If he changes the .dat image for Mee Deggi to King Behemoth or Tiamat he most certainly *will* be able to see it!
It's still cheating really, but it's something you can do yourself if you truly believe you are competing against gilsellers. Then again how far do you go? Doing .dat swaps is one thing, but what next?

There is absolutely no doubt those are gilsellers. Nobody gets that many claims and drops except for the RMT.
I really tried to camp this ******* for my SAM. After 2 spawns of Mee Deggi being practically claimed while spawning, I decided it is more or less impossible to get a pair of o.kote. With 7-8 RMT constantly at the camp, thinking you could ever claim it is a complete joke. And what, TWELVE hours ago, SE boldly claimed that they had banned players using 3rd party tools.
And there's NO way in hell I'm gonna buy them. I would enjoy seeing o.kote turn rare/ex.

Also, its now no longer possible to camp Mee Deggi and Quu Domi at the same time, since the spawn windows open at too low of an interval to make it between the two spawns while also killing ph's in between. Great idea on SE's part.
So, yea. After PH dies, 4:06-5:12 be on your toes! If no nm, the ph will respawn at 5:06.
If you are looking at the times and are thinking O.o, then here's an example~>
You find and kill the PH at 1:00 game time.
add 5:06 to it. Next PH will be up at 6:06 game time. NM's time can be from 5:06-6:12. If its just a PH, kill him and do the same thing.. so say, he spawns at 6:06 this time and you kill him at 6:48 game time. The next placeholder will then be up at 11:54 game time and the NM's spawn window will be from 10:54-12:00 game time.
hopefully this is remotely helpful. I scanned through some of the posts and didnt see this info posted, but if it was, forgive me. Trust me, the times are pretty accurate. If you have been camping and killing for several hours with no spawn, you most likely missed him. the RMT like pulling the nm down the hall so no one sees him, thus they continue camping for hours and give up.

On Asura this NM is camped 24/7 by GS. The GS number over ten. The GS have decided that this NM is theirs. They place four people in the spawn area, one at each corner of the pond, and just wait. Blasuo is one of the names I can actually spell. But you have about a 2% chance of getting claim. The GS are back folks and they are making sweet love with Mee Deggi.

OK i've camped Mee Deggi and Quu Domi prolly about 24 hours this past week. To me it seems there still is a PH. There may not be but i'm just going with what the ppl do who do get the claim EVERY time , so yes GS. I watched one while i was the only other camper in the room kill the "old PH" every time. This is the only time i've ever seen him move mind you but it made me doubt SE too. I hail from the Gilgamesh server and if you are from there and heading to camp there or have Camped there we have 2 main gilsellers in that room 24/7 and about 5 random ppl that can just pop in and grab him sometimes. If its just the 2 main Gilsellers, I honestly think they can be beaten if you have people to help you. I've been doing this solo as my 51 Nin and i have gotten the claim 3 times with no drop. Now this is not bad considering they DO have him botted. As soon as Mee Deggi Pops off they run to him (sometimes with flee). I've just gotten lucky. There is also a 3rd gilseller with this team who sits in Quu Domi's room and if there is too many ppl camping Mee Deggi this 3rd one will come and grab another corner.
If you want to kill him juts make sure you have help. He's not an impossible claim but i have crappy luck and am boycotting camping or buying this item for a while. Honestly i'm not spening that much money on this item when i can spend the same amount and get awesome body armor a few lvls in the future. Well Happy Farming . Really hope SE makes this Rare/Ex ... can't camp this guy anymore without going to AM.
OH and Thanks Kilez for a real trick which i have considered. (not quite sure on how bots work ^^) Must lvl Thief for Flee.

I'm no longer entirely certain that this thing has no PH anymore.
I've seen quite a few pops that time rather coincidentally with the repop on Yags that random people are killing while I stand there waiting, and seen a few pops hit the 4 hour mark until someone killed a single round of Yags and guess who shows up.
My question is, does anyone have PROOF that the PH has been removed from this mob? Or is that a guess based on the vague news that the spawn conditions were changed?
What if the PH for Mee changed from a Drummer/Interrogator to an Oracle? What if the PH is literally a Yagudo chosen at random, rather than one easily spotted w/ .dat hacks or widescan?
Any information here would be greatly appreciated. Something's fishy, as far as I'm concerned.
I've seen quite a few pops that time rather coincidentally with the repop on Yags that random people are killing while I stand there waiting, and seen a few pops hit the 4 hour mark until someone killed a single round of Yags and guess who shows up.
My question is, does anyone have PROOF that the PH has been removed from this mob? Or is that a guess based on the vague news that the spawn conditions were changed?

I'm not sure but I think SE is bullshyting us all on there not being a PH for this nm, I mean, whats the point in making camping better by Killing a PH and making the window 1-8rhs, I mean its not to stop any RMT's and thats for sure. Well anyway, i was camping this and hasty feet last night for about 4rhs, Okote poped 2wice in that time, 0.o not a claim on one. There was a PLD there killing yags in a certain area since i got there, and ya know what, both of the times Mee Deggi poped, it was in the area he was killing the yags, and at the time around when i was expecting them to pop, (I was watching him cause I wanted to know when to be ready cause he was busy with another yag) so I'm guessing maybe SE wasnt totally open on what changes were made, maybe the PH was switched to another yag family, cause sure enough he was killing Oracles and "oo **** he popped." Maybe there is no longer a PH, but I believe with all my soul that some yags have to die for these birdys to pop. Standing around for 1-8rhs just for it to pop out of the blue seams to odd of a change to make. Its to open a window and to random for there not to be something to be done for pop. Anyway, 0/1 on this bird, can't even see hasty feet, does he even exist??
Oh and by the way. I would like to say SE has done something because "THERE ARE NO RMT's CAMPING THESE NM's ANYMORE!!" so its anybodys ballgame now, Thank you SE for making this game more fun than a burden. Now if Only I can use my INT rings and R.accuracy gear for my ninja......

Citizens of Leviathan will be pleased to know that a whole pile of rmt camping this have been banned, including Hapyan and Vuveaucent. This makes camping a hell of a lot easier. I managed to get two claims last night by virtue of being the ONLY person in the room when it spawned!

i've started camping Mee deggi on Asura server (0/7 on drop) and i've noticed many things :
1. there r bots / third party tools being used to claim
2. some ppl auto-target NM right after it spawns even it is half way round the courtyard
3. GS / third party tool users usually r on /anon and have the title "chocobo trainer"
4. not every1 is a GS/ tool user so dont accuse if ur not certain
But although they do use tools there is a very simple way to beat them to claim :
1. First make sure u have flee, either thf main or thf sub, either works fine.
2. make flee and claim macro (voke, chi blast....etc)
2. watch for those ppl who auto target NM when it pops
3. stand next to them and wait....
If u stand next to them and wait they will only move if the NM has poped ( unless they r not botting and only using tools) but either way stick with them. When they do move, instantly use flee and head the direction they r heading (as the have auto target they should be moving in a straight line) keep headingg the direction and u should fine the NM waiting for u. Once NM comes in sight keep running to it and start spamming ur claim macro as the bots will claim it before if u dont. And thats it really, the more u practice the beta u become at it.
P.S lots of ppl might think y would I give this secret out, well frankly its because i'm tired of GS and tool users getting the claims, if more ppl out claim them then maybe they will leave and find another NM.

This works only if the Bot's have Auto- Target Attack, but i sa Bot's who got Auto- Target, Flee use and Chi-Blast when during Flee, so you have no chance, because Human need a Reaktiontime, the Bot,s activating Flee at the same Time when Notorious Monster Pops.

I don't understand why SE wouldn't make this NMs item a Rare/ex like they did most of the other NMs, I really think square is just being ignorant. The leading supplier of O. kotes on Lakshmi is someone named Unish, actually from what I understand he's the leading supplier on about 10 different servers. Do you think he's ever been seen in Castle O., but there are 3 people who are in castle O all the time, and I bet they supply him with Fuma and O. kotes and he gives him a percentage for bringing them to him. If anyone reads this message go to Jeuno and see if the Name "Unish" pops up under O. Kotes and Fuma boots. The same name on about a dozen different servers selling only these 2 items; isn't it kinda obvious what he's doing? oh let me guess, he's saving up to put his baby mithra through college. >.>

I just camp these for 2 hours and he spawned right after I cleared the room. Got drop 1/2 on them. There weren't any gillsellers there camping them so i guess i was lucky.
