I hate that RAM!! it came and killed our whm and then it went after me and killed me!! 8(...i was lvl 10 SAM at that time...now im 32SAM / 16 WAR
Ima go after it when ever i get in the 70 lvls..oh yea it also does like MIghty Strikes every 5mins or so...i saw this high lvled RDM got killed by it cuz it kept doin Mighty
Strikes on him...he was also with a RNG and a WHM along with him...

This guy seriously ticked me off when i was a level 12 i thought i could take him and ran right into him thought hed be easy. I noticed the 4 level 50s using af kind of laying there dead. Well im a high level now and my hnm ls kind of.... PWNED HIS ***, i got the last hit because im a rdm with fast cast :)

I also took this thing on thinking I could whip its butt. This was on the Carbuncle server - playing my level 35 THF when I ran into this thing about 300 yards northwest of the crag in the Highlands. I was extremely excited, because most things in the area only went up to 20th level, so I figured I could take this NM easily and get some phat lewt for once. Wrong. Wrong. We're talking about Rick James in ram form.

I sneak attacked for 21 dmg. At this point, I knew something was wrong. The beast turned and rocked me for 207 dmg. I did a mental check of my drawers to make sure I hadn't shat in them. I was clean, for the moment, but when I got nailed the second time for 211 dmg, I knew I was going to have to wash my Mercenary Capt. uniform. At that moment, I decided it was time to hit my Flee macro and dart. In my fit of panic, I accidentally hit Trick Attack instead. As you can imagine, this didn't help me much. I turned to run anyway, but the ram bore down on me for 245 damage and I was done.

My linkshell mates got a good laugh out of that one.

I was running from Mhaura to the crag to grab a chocobo, at 30 WHM. I knew that i could pretty much take on any mob there (or so i thought..)

I wasn't that careful, and i saw a "tremor ram" I was like "YAY!! TREMOR RAM!! PAY BACK TIME!!!"

I checked it - it said 'impossible to gauge' (and right then i see 3 people in AF armor running away..)

I figured they were going to Mhaura (right...) so i wip out my staff and run right up to steelfleece.

WHAM! 0 points of damage. Steelfleece turns around and hits me for 400 points of damage. I was face down.

I got a Raise from some nice WHM in the level of 70-ish..

NEVER TAKE ON STEELFLEECE!

he randomly spawned next to me, attacked me immedietly while i was healing, and did 280 damage!

I'm allergic to pain and bad injures

Is there a way to make it spawn?

I think the picture that's psoted is of tremor ram... i have one of steelfleece

Finally, I find out what this thing was. I ran into this thing the first week I was playing, when I was level 10 hunting saplings and bees in the Highlands.

I just heard a low thump...... thump.... thump... thump thump THUMP THUMP. I was fighting a sapling, so I just casually turned around. And there's this HUGE thing behind me, which whacks me for 300 and sends me back to Gustaberg. I didn't even know how to take a screenshot yet.

All I could say for 10 minutes was "WTF?!?!"

I was in the konschtat highlands yesterday, and I happend to see steelfleece. I think I ran upon it right after the spawn, and I was searching for some high lvl players to kill it, knowing I would get toasted. While I was talking to someone, and had the search window open, it came up behind me (yes, a GIANT ram snuck up on me =) and aggroed me, it hit me once for 360dmg, and I started to run. I made it for about 10secs and it went just out of sight, I thought I was safe, but kept runnnig, then it used this ability that teleported me back to it, and got in its finishing hit, after using mighty strikes on itself. So I layed there for a minute, angry that I had downleveled, and lost my lvl 30 axe, and then got a lucky raise by a passing whm. I decided I wanted this thing dead, hehehe. I asked a few more people, and one of them told a few friends, and after about 5 mins there was around 20 people there. Only a few of the people were actually a high enough lvl to fight it, everyone else was there just to watch. So finnaly, there was this lvl 75 ranger/37 ninja (that's gota be expensive and deadly), a lvl 68whm/34smn, a lvl 64mnk/30war, and a lvl 67sam/33war. So they start fighting it, and the ranger is getting massive amounts of hate, after hitting it for 1000dmg+ on several hits. So they end up all getting around yellow in their HP, and the ranger is holding aggro, so he uses tons of his ninjitsu spells, and they finnaly whoop this thing @$$. This thing was DANM strong, don't underestimate it. I saw the ranger use an ability, and hit it for 1400dmg, without seeing a largely noticeable amount of dmg done to the ram.
Anyways, thought I'd share my story also, it was a pretty cool experiance (^_^)
