we had me 30rdm,another 30rdm and a lvl60 whitemage
he wasnt that hard

I've been soloing this thing ever since 50 RDM for people... he's a joke.

Got bored waiting aroung for a party to kill him so I decided to try to solo him, 42 WHM Taru, got him down about 50% HP before he beat my booty. No food nothing. I'll try later.
Just soloed this as a 42 Thf... doing it for a friend, lvl 30 blm, but he didnt even get a spell off... sleep didnt work so i didnt even get to SA+viper him... just kept hitting him and using bloody bolts... used a hp drink, and sole sushi before hand... and got protect form the blm... took me 9 min lol but i got him... i love thf... you cant kill what you cant hit... this guy hits around 45-100... 100+ on his chaos breath... so you can solo him... if any thfs were wondering... i didnt think we would kill him let alone me doing it by myself... was fun too...

Anyway, my time was 1 min 30 seconds, the record was 1 min and 12 seconds, I could of beaten the record if I didn't mess up 2 times >.>;;

I dealed 1690 points of damage + what ever Dia II "over time damage" did.
Drain was 70-100 points.

I had a dragoon and a blm 75 while I was a warrior, at least i think I was! it was a long time ago. So now i'm sitting here with my pet wyvern, Azure :)

This fight is an easy one, for anyone that wishes to attempt it. All I can say is that if you have 1 person in your party that is ~Lv.45, you should have no problem.

When I fought this guy for the first time I had a few friends with me and we were just above lvl 34. I was a little worried, then right before we fought it we seen a lvl 30 something(anonymous) Thief kill this thing with no armor on and using a warp cudgel. We stomped it.

just soloed as 52 rng/nin with muskateer+1 took me down to 3/4 health with no utsu.

Can a level 43 SMN solo it with Ifrit's Double Punch BP and normal avatar melee DMG since I dont have fenrir yet?
solod this as a 60 RDM for my friend 33 SAM, hes really easy, couldnt break through my stoneskin, time it took; 2min 23 secs fastest was 29 secs, lmao i shud have used magic but all i did was melee, still easy ^^

I just got done soloing him as a lvl 45 RDM/BLM. I first pre-buffed myself(protect, shell, icespikes, phalanx, stoneskin, Blink, en-blizzard, refresh). I also used a melon pie beforehand.
I started out the battle thinking I could use my 300% TP saved up from fighting orcs, but that wasn't going to happen :(, so I fired up chainspell + elemental seal and aero IIed him until my CS was off, then I finished him off with another aero II. Could have done better if I wasn't recording it.
Clear time was 2:34, but the actuall battle was only about 1 minute or less. Damn scenes :P

first time I did this on my new character.... long story there, I'm not going into it... I ran into a little bad luck, see I decided to solo him w/ my lvl 45rdm/blm. I got into the fight, things went kinda sour from the start, I kept up refresh, ice spikes, protect (duh), phalanx and enfire. problem was, he kept spamming "Dispelling Wind" a move which I now seriously hate.... I died and de-leveled.... then, with my now-level 44 redmage, I went back, dropped phalanx from my list of buffs and actually managed to win... still only got 24xp though... stingy dragon.

soloed this today as 41 RDM/NIN (fiquired it was suicide} but only received 35 exp. If you have ice spikes use it. Cyranuce stayed paralyzed most of the fight between utsusemi recasts. 8 min 6 sec for the fight.
Is this battle capped? If not, I could solo / own this guy.
(EDIT: Apparentally it isn't capped.)

lol did this for a friend im a 60 drg and i got it to 10% health by the time my friend finished the CS lol i beat the record as well so when im lvl 75 im gonna shatter it again
i did this a wile ago and just remembered it when reading this i had a lvl 60 DRG help me (30 WAR) and his wyvern was doing more than me and i felt so....worthless...it was quite funny realy

Solo'd him as 58BLM/29WHM- Fight took about 3 mins or so, not a record beater but he hardly scratched me after my stoneskin wore off.
