I was my level 14 Warrior (no subjob) when I pulled up this bad boy. I was waiting for a party so I decided to go fishing at the beach while I waited.
Let's just say it was a short battle, with me inflicting maybe 10 damage or so (Can't quite remember, was a long time ago).
Don't try fishing in VD unless you're above level 25 or so..This guy hurts bad.
Edit: Oops, I guess this should be in for the fished up Cutter.. My bad. XP

Nvm i caught the other cutter that master marathon referred to, sry.
Ya i caught this bad boy fishing in siren sands. I started running as it aggroed me and delt me to critical hits for 120 dmg. I was about to die when this newbie taru pulled it thinking it was just another clipper (lol >.<) and he died before he got back to his pt.
And it does aggro.

Heh, that's good to know that you get this from fishing in Valkurm Dunes. I was confused since I'd never seen one in the Dunes. Unless you're lvl 35 or above, I would recommend running from this if you happen to catch it.
thats BS it cant be a lv 20-23 i was in selbina getting my new ID's Quest done And i was leavin selbina and this @#%@% ATTacked me dealing 80 damge per hit ANd for some reason my RDM Lv 18 Attacked it so i was locked on it and i couldnt run back in and it killed me with 3 hits and All the 25+ whms wouldnt come save my Raise my *** up and my new link shell on this ID are all newbs -,- so i had to go back to bastok well the good thing is i got a party in korrolko tunnel with a ranger

and i got my level 20! :D and i helped some dragons and high levels Creep the NM
so thanx to the cutter i gained a level :D
