Me 60rdm/blm (taru) camp this fellow for 3 hr, the first spawn was claim by a group of 3. After 2 hour of waiting, the nm pop infront of me and there was another party of 6. I cast dia and and start wacking it, in the middle of the fight i got aggo by 2 cockatrice. The other party stood there and not helping me. I use my 2hr chainspell > stoneskin > convert > nuke. Sleep the cockatrice when it wake and manage to kill the nm. End of battle: 24/720, however the cockatrice wake up and kill me in one hit. Got the earring btw ^^

Tried soloing him once 65 rdm/blm 4 other camper/groups, room was not cleared yet (no one want to be be engaged when he popped) He popped on me, got claim and link one hunter and one bouncer, other groups left when they saw I got mob. Well I died lost lvl. Pted lvl back took friend 70 rdm/thf and me 65 rdm/blm, got mob we won no drop we both had full heath, but no mp, some nukes mostly cures. Then again with me and a 65whm/nin same no drop full hp no mp. So is he easier on some servers or what?

Spent 3 hours (thats right 3 hours!!) for the earing (took 2 ls members , a 61 blm and a 58 mnk). He pops , mnk Chi Blasts and claims , uses 2 hr and destroyed it. Blm just cured mnk , i meleed and cured myself (threw in an aero 2 , hit chainspell but by that time it was dead). Go to cast lot and the blm lots on it! Monk passes and blm get it. Im so pissed off , he never said anything about him wanting it. Even the monk said it was unfair for me. /angry ><

Camped it twice last night. First time with RDM 60, BLM 60, WHM 60, RDM 65~. Popped after 10 minutes of camping, dropped the Moldavite. :D

Second time around added added a MNK 65~. There were literally about 20 people camping it, but we got the pull. Almost killed the MNK with ancient magic twice, but other than than it was a really easy fight. No drop the second time around, though.

Killed this guy last night with a couple LS buddies. 70rdm (Chikaizer), 55whm (Mehi) and me, 55blm. Came at 7:30 pst. Didn't get claim. Came back two hours later and it spawned at about 9:45. WHM flashed it and got the claim. RDM basically solo'd it pretty easy. Me and the WHM just stood there and watched. When he finally dies, I see onscreen "You find a Moldavite Earring..." =) wow. 1/1. I couldn't believe it. I've had great drops this week. Erase, Utsusemi:Ni and now this. ^_^

My LS, WondersOfVanadiel on Bismarck, took this guy out last night while I poked away at him with my sword. With TH2 from one of the members, we got the Moldavite Earring, Scroll: Thunder III, Goblin Armor, and Goblin Mask.

My parser showed 4542 in damage dealt to him, so I'd guess he has 4500 HP. I did submit this information To Haggan using the link above.

Camped him today with a 75blm and 69thf. Camped for 2 hours, it spawned, I claimed it, got the drop. I even recorded the death + drop of it too. Check out my sig for that.

I finally got this guy. One of my party members had D/Ced, and we had been waiting quite a while. I decided that I would take a look around to see if I could get him. Well, after a bit of a struggle getting there (I wasn't really familliar with getting from Torama camp to the room that he spawns) I see a PLD killing a Cockartice. I go in a bit further, and there he is. I'm pretty sure the PLD was there for the earring. I cast Dia, and try to pull Mystic around the corner (to avoid links - I was subbing WHM at the time, so no Sleepga). He wouldn't budge. I got my other party members to come (NIN, THF, WHM) and we took it down easily, and got the drop. He didn't cast any ancient magic, and didn't even use 2 hour. The THF wanted it for her BLM (she has like 6 jobs 50+), but she let me have it because I got the claim.

I'm so happy ^^ I probably would've never gotten this thing if the party member hadn't D/Ced...

I'm a 62 Red Mage/Black Mage, and I decided I was going to solo Mysticmaker....

Got the claim, wasn't really any competition... linked 2 gobs from the start, no real problem, Sleepga usually did the trick...

but caught me fairly unbuffed, so i was hurting on MP when i began...

anyhow, I managed to weather his Ancient Magic attempts (thank you Blink), his 2hr, and some of his stronger magic...

might have even won, had Refresh and Stoneskin both dropped when i had like 4 MP left, Chainspell wore off like 20 seconds before, and I hadn't linked a Cockatrice as well... I was forced to Convert, and got killed before Cure IV could get off...

So now i'm 61, and won't be trying him again without some support...

killed him easily as lvl 67 rdm, he uses chainspell and ancient magic. he casts freeze and tornado 4 times on me , i couldnt stun him or sleep him. good thing he doesnt chainspell ancient magic. killed him got thundaga 3 scroll 6k gil , no earring. Got 14 exp,

me again~ died ta it this time and like 6 high lvls sat there and watched me die , cause my team was 2 far ta help~ they must of been mad cause i beat them with my voke~
