I'm lvl 39 on Siren server right now with my drg should get 40 tonite so if anybody wants to help me id really appreciate it. Please give me (Bozen) a /tell if you are willing to help me.
I just did this, piece of cake. Setup was 58 MNK (me), 50 DRG, and 55 BLM. I was the tank, considering my 8 level advantage over the DRG. It didn't hit very hard at all, being a PLD. I'm not sure of magic DEF, because the BLM would have to be the healer. The battle took 5 minutes or so, considering the natural PLD DEF, and the invincible which we slept. Overall, it's just an easy battle that takes a lil while to do. We even got a link from an anitican (fable?) BLM type, which I find to be very weak. BLM just slept it. Point is, I found this very easy, even for MNK tank. ^^;

I Soloed this NM for a RL friend of mine(I was 60RDM he was 40 DRG) the first time things were going smoothly, just keep stoneskin phalanx prot up and your fine. The only problem we had was Jamming wave(I had no clue the NM was an antica if I had know I would have brought echo drops) so the drg ended up dying and I ran around altepa with a train for a few mins thinking what to do.. so I zoned and asked him to find a WHM for silena, WHM came, saw, and silenad and we won the fight. a 60 RDM can easily solo this if prepared properly. Beat him today with some ls members. Party was me (45rdm) , Ryx (55+dragoon) , and Zac (50 drg) whoo need the item. Hard fight , noone died but we were all in yellow.

Tough fight, I (the RNG) died right at the end of the battle, and the SMN died a little before, DRK managed to kill it with 80 or so HP left. We're gonna try fighting it again cause its the SMN (who is also a DRG) that needed the Key Item.

would a lv 55 drg solo this thing?
Well a guy was shouting for help for DRG AF1, so desided to give it a shot, Me or him was not sure if we could do it ..... Owned him as 61WAR/NIN. Didnt get a chance to use Invincible. was able to get off 3 Rampages 650+,480+ and 35 but last one sucked because he died before i got second hit in ; ; he has a whole lot of HP.
But he was hitting me for a good 45-60 in full AF (when i missed a shadow cast).. so he might be a harder hitter for lower lvls.

solo'd this bad boy as BST56 with 2 CourierCarrie ^^
THF51 friend SouthernBelle came by to join the fight near the end, but a BST55-56 should have no problems soloing this guy ^^

I took me, a lvl 41 drg at teh time, a 60 drg, a 54 thf, and a 43 whm, and we utterly destroyed him. didn't use invincible, only cured a few times.. between my sneak + double thrusts, adn thf's viper bite, and the high drg's penta, that guy was toast.

lol i got a random lvl75 sam/whm's help to kill this... he penta thrusted atleast 5 times in whole fight, took like 4 min.

Im helpin a friend tackle this guy tomarrow if shes on and im a 59RDM/29NIN thats still killing even matches so Im gonna attempt it with just me and my friend and my other RDM friend who are both lv 43. If things turn out to be to much or whatnot ill ask my lv 58 DRK friend to help out.

Haha I had a 63 rdm and a 53 blm plus me a 40drg/20war. And this drg which i was escorting taged along and he was like lvl 32. Bascially the rdm and blm tore the thing apart. Mostly the rdm though. The battle only lasted like 5mins.

I had to get some help from a lvl 70 PLD who owned it pretty hard, casted cure III a few times and Invincible 1 time. I dont know about him being way too hard bc the PLD's life never dropped lower than 1000, Needless to say...Easy as pie and I got my AF1^^

I just finished watching Pocki's clip, and I can say to you with full confidence that it can be done with a pty of low 40s. Granted it took awhile, but that damn thing has mountains of hp(Plus the DC midfight LOL. I couldn't tell what the exact lvs of the party were, but from looking at max hp, they appeared to be low 40s. Anyways, my congrats to Pocki and his pty!

I just finished this today, and we killed Decurio I-III with only me ( 40 drg/whm ) and a 61 DRK/THF.
Decurio I-III used invincible once and cure III several times, the DRK used souleater+guillotine once, and I basicaly cured and med the whole time.

I just got my dragoon today and im lvl 9 now.. should be lvl 40 shortly.. and when i get there ill have a lvl 60+ pld and a lvl 60+ whm to help me kill it.. i think i should be fine.. :D shooting for lvl 20 by friday

But isn't this the same NM for nija AF1? i was wondring cuz im goin to do it tomorrow with my friends and i read that these are the NM's we fight. if so you should change it becuse its only there for Drg AF1. ^^
Ninja af1 nm isn't even an antican. Its two spiders, but you're in the right zone thats a start.

This guy is way too strong to be an AF1 NM. I finally got some help from a level 64 Monk. It was a very hard fight. Chakra is the only reason he beat it.
It used invincible, 2 times.
It got a few hits on me, each was about 150.
No one in their right mind would try to fight this thing without higher leveled help. A full PT of 50s wont cut it....maybe an alliance of 50s, but good luck trying to get 18 people to help you when it took me 3 days to find one person lol.

Heh... I helped take this thing down for a friend. We had a lvl 49 pld... an anon rdm(below 50 I know that much) lvl 33 whm, a lvl 36 mnk, a lvl 40 ninja, a lvl 42 warrior(me), and then the lvl 40 drg we were doing this for... the fight was awesome... it took ten minutes... we had two anticans link with it... only one death... me from tanking a link which was VT ><. but seriously... you don't need to have a party over 50 to do this... just a good tank, a healer, and heavy damage...

this fight is easy as cake w/ one 70+. i fought mine w/ a 70 RDM, and it was a joke, neither of our HP was ever even into the yellow. no 2 hours, no worries, took a couple minutes to kill him, but otherwise it was a joke. i was quite disappointed, to be honest. now... if you want a challenge, the DRG AF2 tiger NM on battalia island. fought it w/ a 68 WHM and the same 70 RDM, and it was a rough fight... rough.

I did this Quest at lvl 40 with the help of a lvl 60+ RDM and a lvl 60+ WAR (Dont know the actual lvl both were anon but had on full AF) it took about 5 minutes to take this bug down and both the RDM and the WAR used thier 2 hours and were at about a constant 300-400 life the whole battle, while I sat there with about 100 life for most of the fight doing only 10 Damage max. I can assure that this is one mob that you should not take lightly and I would not recommend a full PT below lvl 50 even attenpt it.
Also be carefull cause as soon as you touch the ??? point the monster appears and immediately casts a nasty AOE Spell. Be ready to use Silence throughout the battle.
