her rampage would take our PLD down to yellow-red HP, and charm isnt too bad, just sleep the victim.
just to make this clear, shes not the the ONLY mob that can charm players...there is s NM giga on the 10th floor of delkfutt's tower that can charm players, im not sure of his name, but my friend found and defeated him

Thats weird, Mithras have bad CHR and would suck at BST why would they choose that for her abilities, could this be a sign?

charm effect would stay for around 20 to 30 second or so.
member who got charmed are considered enemy, cannot cast erase or any buff on them during charm effect.
Not sure if the person who got charmed is able to unequip weapon, if so, shouldn't be a problem at all..

Wouldn't Erase take off the Charm? I'm just a curious low level, so if I'm wrong, no harm.
Since Erase can only be cast on friendly party members, and a Charmed person is none of these things...no. Dispel can, but only if you get lucky and it doesn't hit shell/protect/etc...
I like the way this mithra ark angel looks, she looks soooo cool! What exactly is it like fighting her, and what does it mean exactly when she charms a party member?

This pic appears to have been taken from what is undoubtedly one of the most badass cut scenes in the whole game. I don't want to spoil but let me just say, the game story starts getting *really interesting* once you beat the rank 6 mission :).
Actually that's the pose she strikes as you enter the Burning Circle for the 1v1 battle. She also does the exact same pose during the 18v5 'Divine Might' BCNM.

One would hope that comments for BCNM/NM entries on this site would entail USEFUL contributions and not an endless string of 'OMGWTFKEKEKE' posts and people bragging/complaining about camping/defeating these things.
The legendary crystal warriors are 5 bosses introduced in the Rise of the Zilart expansion pack. Without giving away too much of the story, they are introduced to you when you achieve rank 6 and return to Norg.
Each of them is a BCNM-style fight (one at a time). They are not of comparable difficulty, as Kyrial noted. I have seen a log of someone almost soloing the largely stationery Ark Angel TT, but otherwise you need a very well equipped party of 75s to defeat them.

Anyone else find it interesting that she is a BST...when supposedly Mithra are one of the worst BST...? ^^ Just curious.
Yeah, I would think she would be the uber RNG...
Can you imagine if a high-level player who had come to assist weaker players against a charm-using monster suddenly got charmed and wiped out his party...?

When did they introduce these? It'll be so cool if they like add features later on where the super high lvls can get their hands on that armor or get that really wicked crystal look. Maybe they should run a contest or something where the winner on each server can get that.........and must be a certain lvl to apply.
its a good idea, but maybe have some sort of impossible quest and fame, that instead of killing them the next time you see them, you do a quest for them which grants you this wicked look, as well as the ability to toggle it..

All I wanna know is, where does she shop?! I have that same char model, I would rather like to be blue with black armor tho. =) Another point of interest is if you we're the one she charmed and you watched while you tried to kill your friends. Also, what if your friends killed you while you are charmed?(assuming they can attack you because you are now an enemy) That'd be teh suck lol
Well, if u get hit by anyone (in almost all FFXI games) while being Charmed, you will be un-charmed, just like sleep :)

cmon people its common sence, just like in every hard hi level battle, insted of killing your friend or him killing you . . .USE THE DAMN SLEEP SPELL!! omg >< i cany believe none of you thought about that ><
From what I've been told by someone who fought (and beat) her, she starts the battle by calling her tiger. I never heard of the Mandragora, though, so I can't say anything about that. At 50% health, she charms a PT member, and at 10% health, she lets them go and uses Perfect Dodge. Supposedly the 3rd hardest Crystal Warrior to beat.
