Vana'diel Bestiary: Bistre-Hearted Malberry  

I have repeatedly camped this guy on and off and usually will be in the area for up to 6 hours straight killing the 4 tonberries in that area. I know the ph are the SMN tonberries but I kill all 4 to kill time lol.

I have read on other sites that it is a lotter pop... but killing for 6 hours and for nothing?

I can kill the other PH for mobs in the area and they pop right off the bat with no hitch, yet this eludes me.

Well, I am officially 0/4 on Skirnir's drop off this guy. Don't even have a job that can use the wand, but I'll keep trying because now it's a matter of pride! HE WILL DROP IT, DAMN HIM!!! lol. He dropped Flood for me last kill, so 100k is a fair trade for his no drop of the wand. :P Will try again. >.<;

This guy pops in the dead end area near the water just below the L-8/L-9 areas. He is a lottery pop off the 2 Slasher's/2 Beleagurer's in the above mentioned areas. Hope this helps!

Couldn't silence him with multiple attempts and good gear. Spammed -ga3 spells which WS wouldn't interrupt.

I second Nascia's claim that this drops Skirnir's wand. It appears to be lvl 65-70 and spawns in the F-9 to F-11 area in the Den of Rancor.
