i did this one with a couple of friends,
PLD50/25WAR-(meeh)
DRK50/25WAR
BLM43/15WHM

there you have it =D, so now we were off to bcnm 30 at balga dais, our plan was to sleep him, and nuke him with aspir's. so thats exactly what we did until he casted paralyga...we all died eventually but i had fun....-_-;

Ive been reading all of these horror stories about bitoso, and it brings a tear to my eye. Because he is the easiest BCNM 30 IF and only IF you have a party comprised entirely of summoners. Me and 2 other summoners on Seraph have repeatedly broken the clear time and have made ove 500k each on him.
The strategy is simple: It's almost exactly the same strategy used to solo the avatars as a lvl 20 smn.
Each person simply brings a Yag drink and 1 hi-ether. We walk up a little bit, cast barparalyze, then we all summon shiva (crawlers are weak to ice), drink the yag drink, then astral flow. We have the shivas assault him, use Diamond dust, roughly 440 dmg each, then sit back as he wails on them. Then while we are waiting for our Blood Pacts to recharge he always casts Paralyga. So we have paralnya waiting for him, then we all use Diamond Dust again and... boom, he's dead. Clear time for Seraph is 2 min 26 secs i think and we have gotten:
2 Genin Earrings
1 Warlock's Earring
1 Utsusemi: Ni
and some other crap.
So my advice if ur not a smn, is perhaps bring 2 and make yourself useful by doing as much damage as you possibly can.
Btw, i feel guilty cuz we have never, not even once, seen him use cure 2. However, he does simply gain a crapload of health back all of the time.
Props to Rebo, Vivel, and all the other summoners who have filled in for one of us.

rdm/whm-me
rdm/blm-sede
war/rng-varin

when we got into battle me and sede tried to

sleep it paralyze bind blind and slow while the

war kept aggro well needless to say we all got

owned he cureIII'd and we didnt know he could do

that so crawler-1 my gang-0 maybe someone can

give me a strat for this party cause we want to

keep it as is

Ok I know some mentioned seeing the thf/nin and rng/nin taking crawler boy down and stuff... The video was good but 9 mins?? That's like forever in this game lol..anywho if I follow the same format they did but throw in a blm to nuke Big B every now and then when my sleep bolts stick my prty should be able do it in less time right??
Easy

This guy is just easy. I feel extremely confident that this setup would work.

Rng/whm
rng or thf/rng or thf

Basically all you need to do is shoot sleep bolts at it all day long. Shoot a sleep bolt take a step back from it, shoot and move. Whm sub is for paralyna. Just dont let it wake up. Not a threat at all if you spam your sleep bolts and use barrage if needed.

** However i would not waste 30 seals drops are super crappy. Most we've made in 3 wins is 45k, then 18k, then 5k.

I tried last night with 2 blms and a monk. Twice. The second time we tried th Aspir it to zero method...after I was dead anyway. We timed out and it sucked. Paralize sucks when it kills your provoke.

I was thinking about it and I think three Monks running in a Hundred Fisting it would mess it up damn fast. I don't know of any spell that wont get inturrupted by three monks with no delay beating the hell out of something so someone should give it a try. Bitso will probably be so busy casting and failing that he wont be able to kill anyone. It probably wont work but someone should give it a try anyway.

so does bitoso no longer drop decent things due to the new update? cuz under item search, erase still shows up under bcnm 30. if so then you need to correct the items list, or this list.

After 6 tries, with MANY DIFFERENT COMBOS! I have finally perfected it! Well, completed it.

First, I went with:
29BLM/RDM
30BLM/NIN (Me)
30RDM/WHM

Bad idea. Paralyzga killed us. Only one person could cure it! Also, it ripped through my Utsusemi too fast! :-\ RDM had to leave.

29BLM/RDM
30THF/NIN (Me)
30THF/WAR

Sleep bolt strategdy time!. . . Didn't work. We could never hit. ><;; We both had maxed, but maybe we should've subbed RNG for Sharpshot.

Then, I got my good friend who had a 30 BLM.

30BLM/WHM
30BLM/WHM (me. . . ?)
30DRK/10WAR

We can always Aspir it down, but we could never kill it! Twice, we spent too much time curing the DRK and not enough time nuking it, first time, we ran outa mana, 2nd time, DRK died. DRK left.

Then, we got another BLM (Tarutaru!) so:

30BLM/WHM mithra with AWESOME GEAR
30BLM/WHM Mithra gimped gear (me)
30BLM/WHM Tarutaru, 'nuff said (bad gear though!)

First time around, we died. D'oh! We can get the aspir part down fine! But we couldn't deal enough damage. But we all crowded the hallway, bad idea! So, second time around, we split into a triangle formation. Paralyga only hits one of us, and that was if I didn't sleep it fast enough! Hehe. We kept bind up, but after a while like, around 1/2 health, the other mithra kept running around, we couldn't bind it, so the Tarutaru let out the nukes. And he killed it! I rushed to the chest. . . GENIN'S EARRING! Wooooo! 300k, 100k to each of us. ^^ We're gonna do this again, since it's an easy, fast, way to battle.

So, here's the lesson. Aspir for 10 minutes, then unleash the nukes, even if it has mana left. It Cure III'd like twice, but we still get 'im down! You want to aspir it enough, so it doesn't Cure III 10 times, one or two is fine! A Water II takes off all the damage he cured anyways! Bind it, and make sure you all START Debuffing before the nukes, and to be in sync. ^^ good luck!

*Dancesoff*!

This is my favorite BCNM to do. Here's my set-up

RNG/NIN
THF/NIN
BLM/NIN

YES ALL NIN SUBS!!!! why you ask.... here's why

UTSUSEMI: ICHI

we have killed him over 10 times with this party and have never gotten hit once.

RNG/NIN and THF/NIN must both have capped Marksmanship Skill and use Sleep Bolts (btw.. they must be timed out right because when the BLM nukes it wakes up from Sleep)

I don't want to give out all my secrets for this fight, but if anybody on Titan sever would like a RNG/NIN for this fight, send me a /tell, i'm always up for it, it's a fun fight..

And for all those who posted that use 2 hours on this fight, here's my advice to you. If you need to use a 2 hour on a fight, you don't have the right set-up for it. I have never 2 hourd this guy, and never will. My party has never 2 hourd, and never will. BTW we have the record time to finish this fight on Titan at 4 minutes 3 seconds. ^^

uh i just did this today and the record on titan is some 12 minutes and 20 something seconds. It is not possible for you to have done it in 4 minutes. I did it on Dec. 10th.

Edit: Found exact best battlefield clear time after we finished; which was 12 minutes and 27 seconds on Titan.

We just managed to beat it at 14 minutes 7 seconds LOL

THF/RNG
RNG/NIN
BLM/WHM (lv26 as well!!!)

Needless to say we were VERY lucky.

What we did was the RNG and I (THF/RNG) constantly spam the hell out of Bitoso with Sleep Bolts. Yes, Sleep Bolts, at a puny 17-16 damage. It kept being peppered with sleep, which was great, couldn't break out a Cure 3 for the first 5 minutes, built some TP, Split Shot > SA+Fast Blade for Distortion knocked it back about 300hp, then it started casting Cure 3. We kept pelting it with Sleep Bolts so it could only land 1 Cure3 every 1 or 2 minutes (thank god). BLM ran out of MP and used 2hr, nuked it alot, and it boiled down to a lot of running around, skillchaining (or solo WS), sneak attack, sleep bolts (MUST NEED for SA positioning and to stop Cure3), sleep, aspir (didn't even aspir that much, lol). RNG didn't have 2hr else we wouldn't have to waste so much time. Final SA and it fell.

In total me and the RNG/NIN used about 90 Sleep bolts.

That sounds very similar to the way our LS does it. Two people with marksmanship maxed (usually a RNG and a THF/RNG) and a mage (RDM preferred, WHM is okay, BLM isn't so good, but doable).

Basically the two with marksmanship spam nonstop sleep bolts while the (a) RDM casts Gravity, Slow, and Paralyze (then RDM casts cures when needed, which is EXTREMELY rare, and rests MP)
(b) WHM casts Paralyze and Slow (then same as RDM) (c) BLM does same as WHM. THF will get one, possibly two SATA/Weapon Skills off of the mage while the RNG is still spamming sleep bolts. Our strategy has killed as fast as around 5-6 minutes and basically depends on when the THF feels like SATAing to end the battle. The trick is that NOBODY engages Bitoso at any point. You just stay at range and keep it sleeping. Easy fight for us! ^.^

This is what we did...went in with a party of 3x BLM...this is how it went...

Our plan was to sleep him repeatably and Aspir all his MP away. This might well work, though it will take a while. In our first battle our 3rd BLM DC'ed at the start of the fight so while me and the other BLM were able to sleep the mob and Aspir away, we ran out of time before we could seriously kill it.

For our other fights, we used a different strategy. We each fired 2 rounds of nukes, then slept it. Then we all aspired it to recharge some of our MP, cured any wounds, and then fired off 2 more rounds of nukes, and slept it again. We repeated this pattern until it was dead, keeping it surrounded and at a range (taking turns sleeping). At any given time it could only get off a single spell and maybe 1-2 attacks before we reslept it, and it usually just Cure III'ed itself once, with the occasional Paralyzga (if you are spaced out evenly it will only hit 2 people unless he targets the center). This strategy works VERY well, because he does not hit all that hard and he cannot spam Cure III in this way. So, to repeat.

Water II > Blizzard > Sleep > Aspir > Water II > Blizzard > Sleep > Aspir > Repeat until dead. Throw in Thunder or Stone II if you like.

I've done this BCNM30 a few times, only died once but I can say I've learned this if you're doing the 3 BLM combo:

1.) I highly recommend having a whm sub (for paralyna) for each mage (takes too long to paralyna whole pt..this is a timed battle).

2.) I also recommend having your dark magic skill capped. You will aspir a lot more with it capped.

3.) It is important to have as much INT as possible, as I said above about capped dark magic, INT also helps aspir more MP.

4.) Make sure someone keeps track of time. When you have about 5 minutes left (and you still haven't aspired all of his MP, then start nuking...he won't have that much MP left and he will conserve it).

Good luck, I have yet to beat Bitoso but I will have my revenge! Hope this helps.

As you can see if you read my post...there is no need to Sleep it and drain ALL of its MP with 3x BLM. There is a far, far easier way to beat this BCNM ;) Read above.

Took Bitoso on twice tonight, and won both times. Was the first trip to a BCNM, so I'm excited...but won't get cocky off a lvl 30 battle. We went with RNG/RNG/WHM and cleared the battle in 6min and 9min. Only one RNG had his 2hr each time (me first, the other rng second time). Both times one RNG was down to the red when I fired the kill shot. (I got it both times ^^)

Me and 2 LS buddies did this BCNM.

First 2 times we did this, we basically got owned. We didn't have a plan, we used
WHM/BLM
MNK/WAR
DRK/WAR<-- Me

FIrst time we brought him down to less that 20% HP, so it wasn't too bad actually. But WHM ran outta mp, and all went downhimm from there.

2nd time, we tried BLM/WHM instead, and we didn't have 2hr... Bad idea.
We didnt even get it passed 1/4 of it's HP.

so about a month later, we decided to get our revenge on this Cunning Crawler.
So, we went back again, same Party as first attempt, but this time we had alot better gear, + the WHM decided to use Food.
As soon as we enter, Meat mith/pro/shell.
Me and the MNK engage, I Use Berserk/Last Resort/Souleater/Bloodweapon, doing 100dmg p/hit, MNK activates Hundred fists, which means serious dmg. we bring it down past 1/2 HP in first 30 secs. We figured we'd have it really fast really easy... No, then he starts spamming his Cure III's and puts on his armors, We managed to take him down, but it took another 6 minutes for him to die.
The payoff wasn't the greatest, but it really fun, and we got our revenge! which is most important, Right?

Thought I'd give this BCNM a shot tonight, and wound up going 0/4, with 3 deaths.
Our setup for battles 1 & 2 were:
taru 29 BLM/14 WHM (me)
hume 30 BLM/15 WHM
taru 30 BLM/15 WHM

1st battle - tried using my macro for elemental seal + sleep to follow the 3-blm plan, but discovered I'd used <bt>. After 1 1/2 seconds of spamming the macro, Bitoso aggroed and slapped me twice before he was slept and we could heal. Basically lots of things going wrong (see: bind & sleep resisting like it was his job) and lots of chaos. Death followed the chaos as he mowed us down.

2nd battle - fixed the macro, waited for windsday, went in with high hopes for revenge. Strolled onto battlefield to start sleeping and I caught aggro by Bitoso, hit at about 90% into casting, and interrupted. Died in roughly 5 seconds. Bitoso went on to toy with his other food before eating them both alive. Other taru called it a night and went on his way.

A friend of the hume's said he'd help, and arrived with his sleep bolts. New party looked like this:
taru 29 BLM/14 WHM (me)
hume 30 BLM/15 WHM
hume 30 RNG/15 NIN

3rd battle - started out with sleep bolts, knocked him asleep, got into the triangle around him and started aspiring with the BLMs while RNG basically spammed sleep bolts. Bitoso did manage quite a few cure iiis and a couple paralyzgas when the bolts didn't hit. Finally got the last mp aspired and started the nuking with sleep bolt support. The hume BLM asked what happened when you ran out of time, and as if by cue, SQUENIX showed us.

4th battle - realized aspir would take too long with only 2 BLMs, so we decided to try a nukex2, sleep, aspir rhythym. Apparently someone forgot to give Bitoso that memo. He didn't really feel like being put asleep much, and basically stayed at 95-100% health the whole time before killing us off one-by-one.

In conclusion, I think we need some better luck with our maxxed-drk elemental spells sticking. Basically everything that could go wrong for us did, and almost every attempt. The biggest annoyance to me for the 3-BLM party is unexpectedly short or totally resisted sleep spells, and Bitoso's ability to aggro and attack us before we can get in range to cast sleep. This BCNM is by no means a walk in the park, at least until you get a definite feel for exactly what's going to happen. Good luck to you others trying it :D

awww hon, im sorry it didnt go as well for you guys as it did for us. all in all though, we were only 3/5, and in one of the fights, i 2h'd, which was lucky, cause he woulda had us if i hadnt ^^* (that was the good drop battle too =D ). but it is really just getting a feel for the flow of things with a certain couple people (val and juk, you guys rock =D ). i see you didnt mention casting choke/burn/shock or bio/dia... dunno if you actually did, but i think that prob woulda notch off a few more hp and help spells (and bolts in your case0 land for a few extra dmg ^^*

well, dont give up, and good luck next time =)

We had plans to use it for each fight, but in the first 2, problems with sleep and bind totally prevented us from being able to do anything other than struggle to survive. Once we had only 2 mages and a ranger, we took too long aspiring the first try, and were too drunken with bloodlusty revenge to try any enfeebling other than shock. If it didn't so randomly resist sleep and bind, it would have been a cakewalk, but too often the spell would wear off while the other mages were casting another spell, and just get 2-3 free smacks in, totally upsetting any rhythym we had going.

I think we're going to take some time to level yet more subjobs before trying again, as we seem to need every bit of luck we can get.

Bitoso Fight

Me and 2 other friends have beaten Bitoso several times now. Our party setup hasn't changed since the first time we tried.
Hume PLD/WAR(Me)
Taru DRK/WHM(Goodi)
Elvaan RNG/WHM(Lunarhex)
We've done this 8 times now, and have only lost once.
The first time we attempted this, we got Bitoso down to 1/10'th oh his HP. But to do that, the RNG had 2 houred and twice used Barrage. We may have been OK if Bitoso had gone for me when I 2 houred, but he kept going for the RNG. So we all died then. A lot of this fight was also spent petrifyed.

2nd fight:
We decided that the RNG would back off on the damage a bit so that I could keep the hate. This worked, but the 3 of us still 2 houred. We beat the battle in just over 10 minutes.

3rd fight:
Pretty much same as 2nd, except no 2 hour.

4th-8th:
We have this down now. We can pretty much own Bitoso without 2-houring.

With the RNG and DRK in the party, Bitoso's C3's didnt' matter. We were doing more damage than he could heal. Keeping the hate on myself and keeping Paralayze down were the most important parts of this. We found out that Paralazye dosen't seem to effect the RNG's ranged attack, so the DRK could just paralyna herself and the RNG took care of me. Damage from this thing was in the 30-150 range with a possible 200 from his poison attack, so spamming C2 from both me and the DRK kept me alive.

For each battle we used this food:

Me:
2x Yagudo drink
1x Boiled crap
1x Pear au lait

Goodi
1x Meat mithkabob

Lunarhex
1x Meat mithkabob

We got good drops the first 4 times. Earrings up to 250k. but the latest 4 runs have brought us in about 5k or less each. So we're going to wait a week or two and try again.
Hope this helps some.

The AoE is too big to avoid, I think, today I did it again with WHM/WAR/RNG, we got close to killing him, if the RNG would of had time to get off another Barrage it would of been set, I got Silence off on him once... Barpoison is rather helpful for this, and so is Regen since he doesnt hit for very much, Item wise, Bloody Bolts and Yag drinks are needed, X-Potions for later on in the fight, this guy isnt a walk in the park like he seems, he's tough.
