In the Wind Pukis picture thread there's people saying "Maybe if Gesper had an Earth Staff he wouldn't have died!" Well he has one :P not that it would make a difference on mobs that hit for 600 damage...
In Latvian myth, Pukis is a flying household spirit bringing its master the goods stolen somewhere else. You can buy or breed it. There are also spells to "tie it down", so you can take it over from its master. Pukis is very much of a fetish, one must treat it right otherwise it will either leave the master, die or do the master some harm. It can be compared with the Finnish Para and the Lithuanian Aitvaras.
