*cough* On topic, this is the Taru you work with in the Alchemy Guild for Guild Points. Sells various key items which allow crafts to be performed, as well as Alchemy Skill+ Items. I believe the most expensive one is the Alchemist's Apron at 100k GP (A friend of mine is banging his head against the wall because of it), but I'm not an Alchemist.
Just wanted to get in the Male Mithra comment, really. <_< >_> <_< >_> ^_^

Skill items are:
Caduceus - 70,000 GP - Must have reached level 48 at least to purchase.
Alchemist's Apron - 100,000 GP - Must have reached level 68 at least to purchase.
Emeralda - 150,000 GP - Must have reached level 88 at least to purchase.
Overall, you're looking at 320,000 GP to get skill + 3 in alchemy (it's the same on all crafts, 320k GP, correct me if I'm mistaken however, I've only leveled alchemy to 100). What I DO know though is that all other crafts are similar. The first skill+ item can be a headpiece, a weapon, or a hands piece.
Head: Cooking, Goldsmithing, Bonecraft, Clothcraft
Hands: Leathercraft, Smithing, Woodworking
Weapon: Alchemy
The second skill+ item's always the apron, while the last skill+ item is furniture.

Just curious but why is hewmewmew wearing glasses if Alchemy doesn't have glasses for a guild point item? Did anyone else notice this? I was mighty bent when I realized that they don't I wanted to save my guildpoints for a pair of nifty glasses and now am going to have to level goldsmithing instead /cry ...

the union contract items go in order kinda like this...
deorderizer (500pts i think) or something like that
poison dagger (900pts i think) or something like that
blind knife (135pts i think) or something like that
fire sword (1000pt i think) or something like that
etc.
it does follow a pattern of some sort like that... i think its based on crafting lvl and it goes up a rank a day

At what alchemy rank can you obtain Anima Synthesis? I'm pretty sure it's artisan (68+), but I'm not sure.
I could be mistaken but i beleive i saw it first time i cheaked..... lv28 ^^
Nah, it's lower than that. I could see it at level 38+
