Guild Point Ratios

so i dont even know how often people look at this NPC but this is the best place to post this for now. I use a ratio system to determine if the item of the day is even worth the GP.

The System is created by taking the average price of a purchaced item if possible first. If the item can not be bought or can be made cheaper than I assess the materials for the item individually. If one of the materials is, itself an equipment or synthed item then I use the purchase price for it if possible or the ingrediants cost.

All Costs are done at Median so it is when the price range of Items from vendors is at the half mark between the fame based Maxiumum and Minimum. Crystals and all AH items are based on my server (Sylph) so obviously there will be differences but do to trends, the great thing about rations is that they should be generally standard Server-wide because prices tend to rise and fall in proportion. Finally, These do not include the guildpoints bonus for trading a +1 item of any kind. Generally when I get a +1 Item I sell it anyway so it doesnt really effect the total, at least consistantly.

Here is an example of how I did it:
Silver Mail
Fire Stack 2,000
Earth Stack 1,000
Silver ingot x 8 16,000
Chain Mail x 2 = 31,000
total 50,000
Guild points 6,640
gil/point 7.5

The first number is the ratio... the higher the ration the more gil you pay per point of GP you earn.

The number after the "-" is the total points available for that Item. It seems that when you are being choosy you may not want to spend too much of a high ratio in a specific situation where your total GP payoff is low. I have notices that generally speaking, situations where you get less GP at one time in a day are cheaper per point but this can take forever because if you only did guild points when you got 2k for the day it would take you forever. Use your own judgement.

Also, if there is a number in () then I though that making one less item than max was a better deal and this is the ratio for making one less. The number after the "-" is the total points available for that Item. If this helps let me know and I can do mark-ups for all the guild reps.. if not then oh well.. If you have questions feel free to ask!

Hope you get some info from it:
