Vana'diel Bestiary: Tom Tit Tat  

Ok I think I've actually run into this little guy before. (Unless regular Mandies can drop four leaf clover thingy's.) But anyways, I was on the research quest for Mandies. So I was fighting them a lot. Fought one and it dropped a four leaf. I thought wow this is cool. But what do I do with it? I had it for a while before I gave it to the research guy. He said it didn't help much, but he'd appreciate it anyway.

I'm not sure if I actually fought this NM. But I was scrolling through and looked at the name. It seemed so familiar. So maybe I did? Who knows. Good luck guys.

I've been out looking for this guy on quite a few Icedays. He never showed. I did find and kill him at about 2:00 am on Earthday, though.

Jimmygunz is right, I think. I went to the spawn point and started killing Mandy's on Windsday. On Icesday at 2:00 am, Tom Tit Tat shows up on my Widescan. I killed him, but no drop. I'll have to go back again and check again some other Icesday for a more solid confirmation. Once is a fluke, Twice is a trend.....

took him at level 9 with my mithra Thief/war. i was trying to level pretty fast, so luckly i had a pamama drink going, and a kabob, or it would have killed me. He's pretty damned fast. I saw him walking right up to the back of the outpost there, so he's got a pretty large range to spawn in. He dropped the fruit punches, and even though i've kept them, i have no idea what to do with them. Kind of an "eh" nm, but still, one to cross off your list.

Did you guys know this is a little bit larger than a large taru! I saw Tom Tit Tat and measured my height with his height... then i shouted "Anyone want Tom Tit Tat at <pos>?"

I was just wandering around the hill once and I saw him, then a lvl 6 thf goes "oh, what's that?" and wacks it, he soon discovers he's screwed and calls for help. Then, a bunch more idiots come and wack the guy up and no-one gets the drop. Gawd, I was so pissed.

Would anyone happen to know when Tom Tit Tat spawns, and the drop-rate on the Fruit Punches would be for Fairy World?

I was killing this NM but it was a close battle, i had like 20 HP left and was on the last hit he stole my boots and ran off yelling "n'yuck n'yuck n'yuck" and those were my PLD AF boots,how do i get my boots back, do the quest again? /sigh whats a noble Paladin to do....

I Was on my chocobo going to giddeus and I see a dead lvl 7 ranger so i look around and see Tom Tit Tat I wacked him up and got Drop! ^^

i saw him on the hill and when i tryed to attack he kept running away so i had to use provoke lol

I found Tom while I thought I was camping Spiny Spipi (no wonder there were no crawlers lol), killed him quickly with fire & aero (14 blm at that point), got about 12 xp, and no drop :) he's totally useless compared with spipi lol.

lol fought this didnt know wtf it dropped so as im killing it ppl start gathering around me lol

My mule was questing the other day, and just happened to be in the proccess of trading her pugil scales to the Twinkle Tree, when whaddya know! Tom Tit Tat comes strolling by.

Well, I'm not gonna touch this guy with a 6th level WHM, so I quickly switch over to my THF (at the time about 35th level) hoping that by the time I arrived Tom would still be there. He was.

Sneak Attack took the bulk of his hit points right off the bat, and he was dead seconds later. He dropped the Fruit Punches, a Saruta Cotton, and a 2-leaf Bud, plus I stole a 4-leaf Bud off him for good measure. Not counting an Earth Crystal (which I couldn't get being so high a level) it was a clean sweep of his drops! ^^

To the poster below claiming that a 4-leaf Bud in your inventory acts like Treasure Hunter I... No. Just, no. I've heard this rumor before and it is totally unsubstantiated. Please do not spread rumors and try to state them as fact.
