Was just there to grab mandibular bite. Make sure you bring antidotes to cure their very nasty venom spit move if you're camping them.
Was lvl 44, they were always easy prey to me, giving me just shy of 50 exp.
Also, antlions are VERY SLOW. You can easily run away from them and lose sight of them. Even with my Slowga Galka rear.

just soloed this as 43 blu. all my spells worked on him, bludgeon, claw cyclone, head butt, screwdriver. worked quite well. best bet is sub whm to solo spells, paralyze, blink, sneak helps getting to these guys cuz of hecteyes. cure 2 and 3 is helpful. may also help im a galka.
Soloable as BLU 44, but nothing seems to hurt them but Jet Stream.

these aren't too tough actually, expable even. the only thiing to note is that the WS Acid Spray is a WICKED poison, at least 12HP/tick. otherwise they have an AoE bind or a power attack called Mandibular Bite, very similar to the beetles Power Attack. Hope this helps people.

Heh they certainly look like they aggro... but I've had them walk right through me, and they are Easy Prey with low evasion to me at 51THF/25NIN. When they walk it looks like they're running at you; it's scary. XD
i am still having a hard time beleiving these do NOT aggro.

Fought a ton tonight, got an antlion jaw. Pretty tough drop with a Treasure Hunter 1.
Yeah i was there and wanted to take a quick look nice area
started to fight one but didnt make it was not really prepared
And they dont seem to be sleepable neither Foe Lullaby nor Horde Lullaby worked on it
They are big my friend Bloodpact (BST) charmed one they make great pets hehehe

Been killing these the past few days for fun and finally got a drop off them. I got an Antlion Jaw. Went to ah and it rarely if ever sells for 5k...but then I went to a vendor and he offered me 6253 for it so SOLD! Easy money drop...happy hunting!
Managed to steal an "Insect Wing"
My friend and I went to Attowha Chasm looking for the Floating cool looking ish..Black Gates of gas blocked the way and couldnt find out how to open them ended up fighting 10-15 of these no drops there worthless :(

As a 50RDM they came up as Easy prey 80% of the time and Too Weak To Be Worthwhile the rest.
