These can be soloed easy if they're EM-EP.. If you're a NIN or sub NIN. Just have throwing/acrchery maxed and shoot away. Keep shadows up at all Time. Some EVA+ food and milks are helpful too. After you got it down to about 50% HP, it will come up to you and attack you. Best bet then is to go all out on it and keep shadows up. Sure, any mob might be solo-able, but this one is much easier to solo then a smithy. I often use these as skill up targets for my WAR. I dont loose much, get a few points, and a bit of EXP and gil after i'm done with it :D
