me and my gf womped on him about 3-4 times in one day. we were both 16 mnks. Also Ironbreaker is harder than Xuu. For some odd reason, Ironbreaker only aggros when there are dirt eaters and elementals around..at least for me. i could have walked right past him if they weren't there. i've done it.

He throws shurikens at you they do kinda hurt =D
He also uses all the Ichi elemental ninjitsus and utsusemi which can get quite annoying. Also when your sweeping through you might run into Eyye Monn the Ironbreaker who is the same class.

Hehe. He spawns in the cave but it is auctually mabye little better for thief and WHM to try to take him down. He is in caves on the Right side:

But RDM and my warrior (15 RDM,13WAR) Got killed cause he did like 70 DAM. on me in 1 hit and i did like 5 dam. so RDM hit stronger he got killed cause we had liked 2 Pipers and Aned Earth eater. He has some nice S***! He has some pretty COOO ranged though!

spawns in the tunnel area that is above giddeus (where you can drop down holes) not sure of exact location..but that area is small..its never camped as the items kinda blow

I kick his a$$ with less then 20 sec solo, I went there as lvl 21 war/mnk with stacked boost and bersk on, first hit took 1/4 of his hp away and he only did 10 dmg by the time I finish him, lol

These sort of aren't real NMs, BTW - they spawn very quickly and when Checking them you will not get the standard "Its strength is impossible to gauge!" message.

BTW this shield is for mission 6(dragon)SAN Doria mission bring one of these buggers to the embassy and then goto bastok to kill the Dark Dragon.

mission 2-3 means the same thing as mission 6 its just saying its rank 2 mission 3

Aspir Knife is drop by a different NM very near there. Its a 100% drop for both monsters. (For me anyway)

He also drop a rare dagger that do not show on this list.
It is real easy to kill with a basic WAR level 18.

He spawns in/around H-8 on the lower floor of Giddeus near the Treasure Room.

The Parana shield is for a Mission. The San d'Orian mission 2-3 when starting in Windurst before going to Bastok.

if you intend to fight him Id suggest either a rdm or blm subjob or have one party with you, since the utsuemi ichi is usually only effective against physical attacks so the magic dmg will help. This guy has a lot of hp too, and is a DC for a lvl 19mnk/whm despite what it checks at.

Spawned for me in the either the room closest to the treasure room or the one just north of that on the lower level. Soloed him easy at 24 blm/12 whm.

i can only assume this thing is a ninja and since i plan on subbing ninja i really hope utusemi ichi is as good for a player as it is for zuu buxu... how annoying to have half your attacks absorbed!!!!!!!!

He's dropped a Parana Shield every time I've killed him.
