Climhazard is correct, this is not a NM it's just a ordinary snoll-type mob. There are 4 of these types here - Snoll, Morozko, Akselloak, and Agloolik, in order from weakest to strongest.

I'm xp'ing off these ones since L67, VT suicide mobs = BST wet dream. Chain #3 390xp solo, {You can have this} ^^

At 67 they all conned VT to me, 240-300xp without chain. At 68 I started seeing 200xp Ts, with still many 300xp VTs around. So they are L71-L74+, won't know the upper limit of the level range until I level further.

Drops are usual snoll stuff so far, ice crystals and snoll arms.

*EDIT* At L69 they give 160-280xp so that confirms the level range at 71-74.

whats a snoll? -.- is it one of those ice bombs?

Yup, that's what they are. They're a tad more vicious than your normal Bomb though. Here's some info I posted on these mobs in the BST forum some time ago:

Snolls

-Aggro Sight/Magic.
-As or more dangerous as the normal Bomb.
-Self-Destruct causes a LOT of damage.

Weapon Skills:

1. Hydrothermal Combustion - Self-Destruct.
2. Freeze - DoT that will take around 700 HP from you over time.
3. Cold Wave - A big damage attack that I THINK is Ice damage. Not too sure if it's ice damage or not.
4. Berserk - higher attack rating, lower defense rating

NOTE: Self-Destruct is related to how much HP the Snoll has left. Don't be afraid to release your pet when the Snoll has but 1 or 2 hits left in it so you can get the full exp.

I think there might be a couple more abilities they use that I didn't mention. It's been a while since I've been to The Range. Also, I might have some of the abilities names reveresed up a bit (e.g., Cold Wave and Freeze might be reversed), but the effects of the abilities are all correct. I spent quite a bit of time exping on these when I was Lv58-61 I think.

Another thing to note is that there are 3 different versions of Snolls that I've seen so far. I cannot remember the names of them, but Snolls are just the lower level Ice Bombs and the other names are simply higher level Ice Bombs... which leads me to the reason why I am posting here:

The third tier Ice Bomb is called Akselloak. They're either Akselloak or something VERY close to the same spelling. I forgot the actual name, but the next time I am there I will double check and revise my post here. IF they are indeed Akselloak, then Akselloak is not an NM. It's just the 3rd tier Ice Bomb.

This may very well be an NM and I could just have the name of the 3rd tier Ice Bomb wrong because the names are very, very similar (like one or two letters off maybe). But I'm 90% sure that Akselloak is not an NM. Again, I'll repost when I find out for sure.

Hope this helps and use extreme caution when fighting these. They're more vicious than their Bomb cousins because thier DoT is mean. It's like Frost for about 17HP per tick for about 700 damage. So be careful.

Yes. My lv 51-53 pt fought one today and was doing fine until it exploded. did 1005 damage to our war/nin. attacks aren't all that tough though.
