He is just a NPC that rolls some dices, it can be good for you or your opponent but if you attack him during PTS he will help your opponent and not you (for good freaking sake) don't do AoE of course he get pissed if you hit him.
Luck has a say to this, he sometimes help you or sometimes helps your opponent but it all comes from his dice rolling..
Help can be: DEF+, TP 100% MP gained and healing, this goes for both you, the opponent and your pet as fight.

This is the Moglin Dice Roller Dude. Basically, whatever you do, DO NOT tuch him. IF you do I guarantee you will die.

<<SMN 1st avatar died, so i summon up a Shiva, he gets close and I don't see the gob, so I figure, "What the hell, let's go for it."
Astral Flow'ed thinking the gob stayed behind. (STFU it was my 1st fight.) And he began raping Shiva. Fortunately, I made it out at about 6% HP, but I really wasn't trying to win. Just bored. (Fought with no MP items, and at lv54. XD)
