Well me and 3 LS mates did this last night and we went 4/4 on bow drop. My theory is that if a RNG gets the killshot the bow will drop 100% of the time. I got killshot each time last night and it dropped each time. We had no THFs or /THFs in 4 man pt either.

well i can confirm that this is not the case.

I went with a rng friend today cuz he uh asked me to and I was there to make sure he didnt' die. Anyway, he always dealt last blow and we haven't gotten bow yet.

0/2 on it.

Well as long as u can avoid the raptor aggro then soloing by nuking or sleep arrows is very possible. But would you really want to go all the way out there by yourself? That's what friends are for. ^^

Hey i was the one who sent in the pic of me fighting it (which i forgot to crop so i'm not in it ~_~)

Trade a San D'Oria Carrot to the Rabbit Footprints to make it pop. The Rabbit Footprints respawn 15 min after last death.

Anyways based on exp and amount of people there to help me i'd say he's about lvl 60-65 range. There are other rabbits in the area but thank god they don't link.

The thing to watch out there for is the Nival Raptors cause they will aggro (conned DC to me lvl 75).

The NM has a mad TP move in which he eats a carrot and gets back like 1000HP+. So you're gonna need either a BLM or DRK to stun it or just alot of DD to kill it before it heals again. I got my bow on 1st drop and that night drop rate was about 1/10.

White Coney is spawned by trading a San d'Oria carrot to a ??? spot (the pos escapes me at the moment) on a Full Moon (not New Moon as stated above)

Black Coney would be spawned the same way, but this one is during a New Moon. The difference between the 2 is that White Coney spams an incredibly annoying HP Regen move, while the Black Coney spams an AoE type attack.

I went with some friends about a week ago, we went after the White Coney, figuring it would be easier to deal with the HP regen rather then the AoE attack (also we were told that the White Coney is the only one thats been varified to drop the Selene's Bow)... first off the ??? point jumps around every 5 seconds or so, making it tough to grab (we ended up giving everyone a carrot and spamming a macro) and then reappears 15 minutes after the time of death, as long as its still a Full moon. If you have enough people and enough DD (our setup was 75NIN, 75WAR, 64SAM, 65MNK, 68BLM, 75RNG, 64RNG, and 75THF-who d/c'ed after the first fight) and we killed it fairly easily, without the regen being too much of a problem.

As for the bow, we went 1/4, but rumor has it that we got pretty lucky (especially without having the THF around)... i've heard that people have gone 0/30+ on it, so seems to be a tough drop rate.
