Vana'diel Bestiary: Stroper Chyme  

wow i was just in here looking around and right in front of me was Stroper shyme...no claim, i kinda wondered if i could take it because i was a lvl 44 mnk at the time, so i chi blast. i realized im losing fast, then i 2 hour...wow i was so close, i used chakra earlier and it wasnt rdy, if it was rdy, i proubly woulda beat stroper. and another camper came by killed it and got drop ><

Im like 0/100 with this NM he is stupid and too many gil sellers camp it ppl dont waste ur time on this NM!! i dont think its worth 500k if u dont ever get the drop im being real too u DONT get the drop gil sellers always do!!

Earliest i saw this beaten (solo) was by a 48/24 THF/WAR

I plan to attempt this as a 52SAM/12WAR (voke to beat gilsellers)

can a level 45/pld solo these?

its actualy not spawning evry 5 min in 4 different spots /sigh , there are 4 SEPERATE regular mob stroperchymes, each pops EXACTLY 12 min real time from its death, If your camping the 1 near the hidden wall for the strange apparatus, its the only 1 accessible from that hole , you can feel free to test my timer, the other upper ledge allows you accesss to 3 chymes. plz save correcting for when you offer correct info.

On that last one i mean a bloody bolt kill not skill, the bloody bolt kill does nto include treasure hunter for some reason! ok theres my correction

I am really good at this claim. i dont know why though. i number areas off. napalm room is #1, stairs is #2, first room at bottom of the stairs is #3, and the off shoot room is number #4. i go in with me starting and usually like 3 ls members want to come cuz they see it as easy gil cuz i get claim alot. so i put each of them in a dif room and then i start. i run between rooms like mad. flee is always up for two of them. you get each time and as soon as you claim one you let ls member finish it and you go for another. THF IF YOU ARE USEING BLOODY BOLTS DO NOT MAKE KILL WITH THEM!! a bloody bolt skill does not include th2>< a gm told me this! i have cdaled gm many times when the gil sellers go and hold the few claims they get. They do nothing though and there responces are always the same wich makes me think they are just random programs too>< SE is really pissing me off! OK my main prob is the drop i always go in as a 47THF/23WAR! You wait till 3 sec before pop and hit flee and run around like mad and tab through creatures till u see it and bam voke you will be hard presssed to find it before gil sellers but hey it possible. (If you arrive in room #4 and no one is there, it is probably because the gil seller is hiding in the secret hallway on the far wall, or he running between rooms #3 and #4 and getting both this means he timed claims so if u wait long enough and get one make the kill last to mess him up!) i bad luck is i am 2/178! low drop sux><! This post is for those who know the general locations of chyme, and are capeable of killing it. When you fall in the hole, that leaads to where the upward staircase is, the platform (anywhere on it) spawns 1 chyme, the top of the before mentioned stairway, another spawn (wide spawn range here) or the 3rd , just past the slah primes anywhere to the room that spawns 2 bombs. Each stroperchyme works off its own timer, exactly 12 min. earth time from chymes death 1 will spawn in that ones spawn range. This is so acurate of a time, that if you click flee at the 11min. 57sec mark, ull be mid-flee when it pops. The gilfarmers know this and try to time the deaths to match each other so your only able to really camp 1, if you claim 1, take you time, try make fight last 6 minutes, youll throw thier timing off, and be able to camp 2 spawns. I hope this helps, i HATE the gilfarmers , I wish you all Archer rings. The real trick is knowing the spwntimer. and now, You know what they know

I was on my way to complete Thf AF Boots and when i was heading to the zone near the napalm room, it spawned! A mnk was killing the napalms atm and i did not have voke, so my rng atk luckily got it before he could switch targets, and guess what..I GOT THE RING!! 1/1. After that awesome day i kept on going back for the stroper but now i never get the drop lol...I'm probably 1/15 now. Was that not a lucky day or what?! Btw it's Cyrinus, from Lakshmi not Dz my bro^^
