Vana'diel Bestiary: Stroper Chyme  

Welp last this weekend me (Valcor) and Domon decided to camp this guy. I went as a 41rng/nin and domon as a 46rdm/war and our friend Nemisis idled his char with Blm/Thf for us so we have th1. Well anyways. We were all lanning and Nem and Noko went to sleep. Noko didn't come. So me n domon we're up havin fun killin this thing. On our 7th claim/kill we noticed it dropped the ring! And we didn't even ahve th2! Woo!! I got a pic of the drop with my cell phone but i dont have a place to post it. Will try and find one and add a link here asap. Gl all! This guy is fun 12 minute spawn and the constant adrenaline rush of will it drop or not. So 1/7 for the Stroper Chyme Sounds good to me! ^_^ .

Is 11 min 50 sec equal to 5 hours game time? If it is then this is correct. The spawn on stroper is almost exactly 5 hours game time..(This is when the gilsellers use flee/hide) unless it pops late but never over 30 seconds longer and never before 5 game hours.

the gilsellers on Kujata are always here. god damn Lixia tribe.... so many monoplizing gil selling companies everywhere and anywhere. im able to beat them to stropperchyme 40%-50% of the time solo with them having a party of 3 just in the 1/5 spawns im camping. so i call in some freinds and beat them even more when they call in more thfs. so anyways. moral of the story. gil selllers arn't hard to beat to claiming so dont worry about them. my buddy Daleven even beats them 90-100% of the time on Leaping Lizzy... but daleven is a leaping ***** so it doesnt matter... hes like 13/70+ on lizzy. but anywas. if your on kujata and feel like hunting this with me sometime after i get thf to 45. let me know. 55war's just dont get enough TH with thf subbed lol. names Trice

umm... its not the gil sellers that are the problem its the people who buy the gil.

I was debating on starting a LS that goes to farm Nm type monsters in zones where gil sellers r prominent.
Im from quetz server and I am looking for true players, Who are interested in making gil while trying to shut down gil sellers companies...

This is just a though that i had over the last few days, if people r interested and or have any ideas on how i should recruit feel free to drop me a line in ffxi my name is criminalz..

<My LS will have planned events where we will go dominate for the evening , weekend etc... till they get the point>

This thing isn't all that hard to claim. I've been doin the brown belt qst. and was on my way to kill Morbolger. While I was waiting I figured I should try and get Stroper Chyme. I've been down there for about 2 days and I've claimed it 7 times. No drop, but still it's fun beatin the gilsellers to it lol.

On my server(Seraph), there's 2 gilsellers in the large room. One's a THF/WAR, the other is a PLD/WAR. I found out that this will spawn around every 10-12 minutes. I figured out that the THF will use Flee and Hide 10 mins after the death of the mob. LOL there's my que. On top of that, the THF D/C's about every 10-20 mins. Stupid gilsellers.

Man, if I can just get a few more people down there.

I dont know my how many I have claimed for sure but around 50 sounds right and not one drop, and the prob is that there are so many gil sellers there i hate it!

So I get tired of XPing one night and decide to go hunt something for some money. Buddy of mine recommended Stroper Chyme and I never hunted it before, so I head on over there and I didn't think it was bad...at first. Soon as I got there, claimed it once, no drop. 5 min later I run into a pack of hungry gil sellers all monopolizing the area. I knew some of them were some sort of Packet-sniffing voke bot program cuz I would follow the PLD/THF straight to the mob w/ no one else around it; otherwise they had someone in the party with scan telling everyone but I'd doubt it. All his buddies would soon follow all with the same action and follow the same trail. 10 feet away from the mob they all fleed to it for some reason, sleep it, refresh, regen, then wait. What really pissed me off was they were trying to take hate away from me when I claimed it once by spamming Cure IIIs even at full health, so I had to keep voking it to keep it. What Haamboner totally made sense cuz I was wondering why they were just standing there not hitting it when I was around. On the next claim they held it way too damn long. After 20 min of holding the ******* I reported them to a GM, who popped up and gave them a 5 min warning to kill it. Then I asked the group if they were bots and one guy asked me "You china?" I was being an ******* with him cuz he pissed me off and he even had the gal to ask me to party with him and even said "You sillergil ^^" when I told him off. The rest of the party didn't respond to anything and were too robotic with what they were doing so I'm guessing the guy I was talking to was watching over the bots cuz they're all his. I might have to find something else to camp cuz people tell me these guys get reported all the time </sigh>

severley over camped by gilsellers 24/7 on seraph...u can make more money farming copper ores then this thing :/

/sigh was wandering in the cave for the chest for RSE quest found this spot where many people running around and standing... Killed the jelly no drop ,but i saw 1 group of chinese people /i do understand chinese.... like lvl 50-70 keep sleeping 'em and provoking it ,but don't kill it.... watch 'em for awhile is that help the drop rate on the ring?
