Soloable by a 74blm/rdm
7250 HP but easily slept and able to rest between recasts.
I just cast Blizzard IV. Not one resist in 8 casts.

These mammoths so far from what we are finding do not agro (unsure if they link) but they do spawn fleas.
If you are ko'd by the Madrid the fleas stay and some unknowing passer-by may be agroed by them.

It was 2am and Thoreau was not yet tired for the night. A comforting message appeared in the chat log...

I /tell back that I am interested and soon get the invite. I accept and am a touch concerned since I am only the second member (odd when I did a /sea <r> the name was yellow).
I check the perty member list and see that he is a BLU, could be fun so I may as well stick it out.
A few seconds later another pops into the party... and then another...
And they too were BLU... Hmmmmm I think I been tricked!
Two more to finish up the pt and we end up as:
67BRD/WHM, BLU/WHM, 4x BLU/NIN
It took a while for them to find the the right campsite. I say 'them' since they were all chatting in Japanese and I am limited to auto-translate.
Party chatter gets into a frenzy and I realize that we are there when they all start to buff up.
One pulls a Marid and they all start going to town. The Chigoes gave 50+XP on #1 increasing to 100+ on #14 or so. Then down goes the Marid for chain #15.
Along rolls 6am and I had to leave for some {sleep}... 30k+XP in four hours including a rather long travel time.
As for drops: we saw 2x Marid Hair (which I got both ^^) and several Marid Tusks
