if your melee they suck, it can take a good 4min to take down an IT in the dunes if the party has know BLM.

my friend told me blunt weapons are good against crabs (hand-2-hand, mace, ..) and it's true I've seen it.
Snippers In Valkrum Dunes
# Feb 19 2005 at 1:45 PM Rating: Decent
The Snippers in Valkrum Dunes DO NOT aggro. I know this for a fact. I was standing infront of about 3 of them and just left my PlayStation 2. Meanwhile i did my homework, came back and not a single damage tooken. (Note) I was on my level 16 Black Mage. So you know if it was to attack me i would have been dead.

Linking...
# Feb 12 2005 at 5:29 PM Rating: Decent
These guys definitely do link in the Dangruf Wadi. I am positive that they do not link the Valkurm Dunes, though. As for aggro, I honestly have never seen one aggro, but I don't doubt that they can in certain areas, or if the target is low on Hit Points.
Awesome picture

They have aggroed me while I was in the Ordelles before. Otherwise, non-aggro.

I've never been aggroed by a snipper. I can stand right in front of an IT snipper and not get aggroed....

Yeah, I know what you mean. The guide says that they aggro, but I've never had one aggro.

The snippers in the Dangruf Wadi agro, not the ones out in the Valkurm Dunes. The ones in the Wadi also link.

They drop water crystals not earth crystals. I have never seen a shell drop.

I'm Eiyoko from the Caitsith Server, and I have the shell for proof. They do drop shells.
