Historical Information

In Arabian mythology, the Bahamut was described as a giant fish (said to be so large that no person could see all of it at one time) that floated in an endless ocean. On top of Bahamut was the giant bull Kujata, which in turn had a massive ruby mountain utop its back. On this mountain rested an angel, which above it laid the six hells, which existed underneath the Earth, which in turn existed below the seven heavens of the universe.

Next head to Misreaux Coast and examine the Dilapidated Gate (F-7).
Enter Riverne—Site #B01 and head to the Unstable Displacement at F-7.
You will need to have a Giant Scale, if you cant have any kill some drakes.

TP Moves:
Megaflare (AOE fire dmg )
Gigaflare (AOE massive fire dmg )

Touchdown (AOE damage)
Trample (LoS Damage)
Absolute Terror (AOE terror)

When Bahamut is dead, you will get a short CS and a key item.
Head back to RuLude Gardens for another cutscene.

Reward
Key Item: "Whisper of the Wyrmking" which is used for the 2nd Bahamut fight.

Strategy: (some people say kite, we just tanked it straight up)

(BLM's)-Not sure how fast Bahamut's TP Moves are, or if you can even stun them. So, set up a stun order. It is also said, though I am not sure, that he builds a resistance to stun. So, do not just throw stuns randomly. Try to save them for his Magic spells listed above. Try not to over nuke and steal hate. I suggest Tier III spells in the beginning for a bit so your PLD (suggest using pld to tank) can keep hate. Also, do not stay in Bahamut's line of sight. (bring echo potions)

(Tanks)-I suggest using a PLD. We did and had no problems at all. Take 2 PLD's if you can so you can have a back up just in case. (bring echo potions) I would aslo put a DRG in your Tank party to use Ancient Circle. Every little bit helps.

(Healers)-I would advise a WHM & RDM in Tank Party, RDM in Mage Party, and WHM or RDM in Melee Party. (bring echo potions)

(Melee's)-Just do your thing and deal damage. Do not melee Bahamut from the front with your tank. Try to melee from the side. Main thing you need to watch for is his TP moves listed above. Bahamut will start talking in /say before he does this so when you see him start talking run away and remember you never want to be in his line of sight. If you ahve spare DRG put them here as well to use Ancient Circle. Every little bit helps. Have your DRG's take turns using Angon. At around 30% have your DRG's set up an order for them to use their 2hr's (one of jumps takes TP so good to use on Bahamut towards the end)

That's all I go. Good luck.

Chaos Theory Linkshell on Fairy Server owns Bahamut 1/1
(That's our picture up there ^^)
(The PLD tank that's hard to see his name is Mozhat. Just thought I'd note it here since he did great job tanking Bahamut & Apocalypse Nigh for us!)

Our Setup:
Tank Party:
PLD, PLD, NIN, DRG, WHM, RDM

Mage Party:
BLM, BLM, BLM, BLM, BLM, BRD

Melee Party:
DRG, NIN, MNK, RNG, RDM, WHM

Bahamut lives in Riverne site, at the top in monarch Linn, you can fight him in 2 BCNM type situations located in site riverne

1 hes alone and its easy, the other he summons vrtra, tiamat, ouryu & jorgy to his aid and is as you would expect, extremely tough.
