what levle can a whm solo these. i once was able to fight one, at level 50, but soon realized i had no hope against it. there is no spell or attack i have that does much damage to these things. i used seraph strike and its health went down less than 5% while banish 2 did even less.
1. Seraph Strike - Light based weaponskill
2. Banish II - Light based spell
3. Light Elemental - Light based mob
Level your BLM up more and use Dark based spells, you should have better luck.

A 45 blm could take it me thinks. I'm level 60 and my Blizzard and Fire II can take out almost a half of a lightning/water/earth elemental's hp. If you're a mage just nuke 'em to death. If things get rough sleep it and rest. Oh... and don't forget to silence them.

Any one know when exactly it becomes light element on the whole island, i know it has to do with the moon

I belive Qufim gets auroras on Lightsday.. not sure about the other days. Also not sure if the moon cycle has any effect.

elementals just have high physical defense, they are weak to magic. so a mage-type ..especially rdms w/ en-spells can own these things.

Light Elementals Spawn in Ru`Aum Gardens also, Best place for a BLM to solo LE's, 10k+ a kill and very easy to do.
How many Light Elementals have you killed in sky? They are all Tough to me and everything aggros to magic. Last time I checked you don't really solo Toughs too well at 75.

What would be the minimum level to take on a light elemental if you have 2-3 people? Or how many level 30-33 ppl whould you need?

BTW which spells can a blm use to kill it quickly?

any spells that do darkness damage like drain or bio or any other dark spells
Dont Bio it (or any DOT <damage over time>) if u have to sleep it your screwed if there is a spell that does DOT sleep wont last longer than 1 sec

Well, if Drain does Darkness damage, then I guess that. Otherwise, just whichever spells you have.
This thing must have a LOT of hp because I saw a lvl 75 monk take it on and it took him a couple minutes to finish it off.

Oh, and I suppose you were born with a perfect strategy guide in your head? See, some people aren't omniscient and perfect like you, o lord my god...it's us mere mortals that have to ask questions to garner the knowledge that you were inborn with. No, the elemental doesn't have a lot of HP really. It's just that Melee types can't hurt elementals very well. So the battle takes a long time for them. A black mage can kill it very quickly.
