Found out this thing aggroes if you rest, regardless of level. I was lvl 56 in dunes, and rested on the beach for a min, and got aggro from it.
everything aggroes to resting that would normally aggro, regardless of level
I have confirmed that these Drop Goblin Mail and Goblin Helm so far

I'm not a boter and to tell you the truth I think this is a little over board. For one you can't party in Dunes like you did befor, and 2 you can't go out and fish like you did befor. Not all fishers use bots, I was planing on lvling my fishing skill but now. I might just not do that. whats worse this is going to kill the gil making in the game even more. I'm not making much gil as is. SE why not try setting up a thing where you get gil from your nation, like a paycheck, that is based on your Rank. And maybe then people won't think we're getting chocked out of the game for other people stupidy.
lvl up a lil bit and the gobs wont bother you.

I was watching these Bounty Hunters in Valkurm Dunes last night for a short time. There were 2 parties on Whitebone Sands and a party on Siren Sands. These mobs were not aggroing the parties. There were also a few people fishing there anonymous and gearless, so I could not estimate their level. The goblins were not aggroing the fisherman there either.
These mobs run extremely fast. I would guess that it is close to flee speed, and in very irregular patterns. There were a few times I thought they were running toward someone to aggro them, but then they turned at the last minute and ran in a different direction.

So when do we get to see this Gob running thru all the cities killing the fish botters?

No, you can still fish in the areas around them, you just have to be a high enough level to be out of aggro range.
Funny as hell. Went to qufim not one Bot there I went as 43 Pup con. as easy prey 1 aroged me took him on. Then went around the corner to the other area they con as easy prey also tried to get argo from them again for about 4 mins and he wouldnt even argo me. :( so I watched as a Bst got argo from one and he was getting his butt kicked So I helped. They droped Gil, Beastman seal and a goblin helm. Went back to windy saw a whole bunch for low lvl anon buying the low lvl 1 Rse gear soooo.....?? Good day ZoodayZ

Saw one on my way through dunes last night. Not a soul on the beach...neither fishers nor exp parties. The gob conned EP to me at lvl 30, so that's a decent gauge of its lvl. I imagine this will also cause dune xp parties lots of trouble, hence why I saw none. If it aggros to sight, based on its speed and route, it would make short work of low lvl xp parties. Guess no more killing pugs for xp in dunes. At least it eliminated the bot problem though.

Also killed one today at Whitebone Sands. Moves around alot and fast, but fell under my Great Axe. Seems a bit higher than the Butchers in the area. 436HP or less. Standard gil from mob of that type.

My wife and I were partying on whitebone Sands beach in Valkurm last night, there were usually 2-3 of these running up and down the coast, very quickly like most people have stated. However, we were lvl 17 and 18 and they conned even match for me as a 18Rng/9Sam, and they were tough at 17Rng/8Sam. so they are not too bad, we fought them a few times, had no problems. They are just like any other gob, other than the way they move around the coast while not fighting.
So those that have issues with these guys, just learn to fight gobs. If you can not fight gobs, then why are you on the beach in the first place, you should have been fighting them before coming to the beach.
my main reason for replying to this thread however was to note the level of the gob, as it has not been stated yet, hope this info helps.

I love these. Walked through Quifim Island and the Dunes and not a fish bot to be seen.
Had to kill one with my BLU 51 just to see how they were. Got gil and a Goblin Helm so they do drop stuff.

I looks like from what people have said, that their level varies according to which area they are found in.

I saw two of these gob's walking up and down the beach in Valkrum Dunes. Unfortunately, they had both legs. =( I killed 4 of them, all I got was gil. Pretty easy to kill, nothing special.
Lol... couldn't understand the 2 leg remark at first... now I do ;)
I was quite surprised to bump into one of these today while returning from Bibiki Bay along the Buburimu beach. It was chasing somebody, so I attacked it; it died in a couple hits as 75MNK, so I believe the level is similar to the other monsters in the area (i.e. low to mid 20s). There was no drop.

This is going to be the best mob ever... I wish i could cure it...lol
This Goblin is a tool used by Square Enix to kill of all RMT Fishing Bots.... If you notice in Carbuncle server, all the fishers are gone.

This enemy is available for a few hours and there's a picture of him already, yet I've sent in my Fogweaver Mozzfuzz (NM Orc) picture over a month ago and it's still not uploaded to this site...
