whats the pos of these in beadeaux area. Are they inside the tunnel areas, Or outside where it rains.
And will I have to fight these while cursed or silenced. Am I better off in Qulon dome instead? (although they are much higher level there :(

Can I solo these (nuke, sleep, nuke, sleep) as a 68 (almost lvl 69) BLM?
It's almost time for me to have Water 4 and I'm still missing Flood. =/

Yes they're soloable but its very hard to not link the other quadavs around him. I pulled with silence when he was away from the other quadavs and ran to a safe spot. Then just sleep, nuke, sleep, nuke, etc. While he was asleep, i would recast stoneskin if it was down and also take that chance to silence him if silence was down. He never took my HP into yellow, very easy to solo IF you don't get a link. I was 69BLM at the time and about 4 Stone IVs and maybe a drain would finish him.

Can someone tell me what the drop rate is on the Black Mage Testimonys for this mob? 68BLM and i dont have 1 yet :/
I was in a pt taking these things among other quadav types down. after HOURS we got very little to show for it. The drop rate is horrid. I dont reccomend trying to farm them.
Verified firsthand that the drop rate is awful. 7 hours of farming them and ive gotten a whopping two scrolls: Water III and waterga III. My blm is never going to learn flood at this rate -.-
Edit: After 30 hours im giving up. At this point ive gotten Water III, Water IV, Waterga II, Waterga III, multiple Black Mage Testimonies, and two coffer keys.

I wouldn't recommed farming them either (had terrible droprates in the past), but I can't resist mentioning that I did a quick skillup pt there the other night with 3 friends, killed 3 saphire quads. First one dropped waterIV (300k), second one dropped flood (160K). Third one didn't drop. Aww, only 460k to split amongst ourselves. =D
