yes they do i know that my Drk was doing like 50% or less dmg to them lucky i just broke out my elemental spells and /goodbye it i'd recommend leaving them alone if you gonna rely on just melee unless there easy prey / too weak perhaps there good thing for a BLM to farm i dun know tho.

level 6 beastmaster on a suicide mission, Charm Pull, death, in total i did about 20 x 1 dmg before it killed me, these things dont hvae raised def, its crazy, i was doing 20 dmg to the gobs in RP O.o
