So i ask the leader do Robber Crabs link and the whole pt screams at me yes. but Both this site and the atlas i have agree otherwise so i figure since the pt sucks and every pt i have ever had there does i would do a test. Sure enough ppl dont understand the difference from Link and Aggro
Link when you attack one mob and more of a similar mob come after you becuase you attacked the first one.
Aggro when you enter detection radius if Sound Sight V is sight or smell (i think smell not sure i just know smell aggro is HUGE)
PPL get aggro confused with link when they are running from one mob that aggroed and doesnt link and they run through a giant blob of them and they get more aggro. its just aggro ppl not that complicated.

They don't link, but they help each other out.

My experience in Jugnar is that they do link. If your close enough to the other Boggard it attacks. At least it attacked me.
I must be a bit confused about the use of the word "link" in ffxi. I will fight mobs that will begin to attack me in a group, if others are near enough, but then I look on these boards and people say they don't link...
Is it only if you are low enough level for the mob to agro that this happens?

ok when it says they link that means if they are close to one that aggro's you the other will attack too even if they are too weak if you attack on others will still link. What happened to you was you got aggro from both of them individually not from a link.

scroll: regen drop rate is about 1:15 without treasure hunter.
it's actually a rdm, not blm.. at least in meriphataud mountains.. i've seen some cast enfire and enwater

Yeah they detect by sound. These aggro 100% are just like the dancing weapons in qufim....
