I find these bat and the skelton around them to be good as solo combat skill up material. I used them for my staff and club, as a Summoner.

I also used them to "break" the Pole of Trial.

While hunting for Coffer keys off of the Mind/Flesh Cravers, we discovered that these guys also drop the coffer keys ^^
