Where in Castle Zvahl Baileys are these things? I can't find them anywhere.
possible for a SMN 72 with capped SMN skill can solo with carby?

It's lvl 71-73, so I'd say pretty damn tough. It is a black mage, so if your WHM has high enfeebling, maybe they could silence it for a few minutes. I'd wait until your static party was more like lvl 65.

Hey, I am a level 63 Paladin, ironicaly in a level 63 static party (^_-). My static party and I were wondering if this demon would be too much of a problem for us (Pld, Whm, Blm, Brd, Mnk, and Drk.) keep in mind we are all up to date on EQ, and spells.
We were just curious because we'd like to hunt flare for our blm, seeing as how it is the only spell she is missing ^^. If you have any information regarding the toughness on this mob, or any helpfull hints on the battle, please post^^

I'd say no, for a number of reasons.
*Demons are just plain tough. They hit hard... very hard. Good accuracy.
*TP from these is very annoying. Slowga, Blind in a frontal radius. Your WHM will be busy.
*Should your BLM be mid-cast when the demon starts casting? You're screwed. >_> He'll have all of his -ga IIIs if he's mid-70s. Try eating a Thundaga III in a 63 PT.
*Annoying to get here. You'll be able to get aggro from everything along the way, and a slip up with sneak/invis is fatal.
*Not many of these demons in one spot, and they're packed together.
*No real camp, as no matter where you camp you'll get either ahriman, demon, or more demon aggro.
There are just better places in general. You guys would get more EXP waiting for her to farm for her Flare then what you'll lose for getting it to drop there.
