I had "Test of True Love" quest from bastok that needed a chest here, ergo a chest key was needed. I noticed on here that these guys supposedly dropped the key. I decided to lvl my npc as well as try to get a key. long story short.. 120 crabs killed and a few skellies before key dropped as 53rdm/25thf. I did get 4 lvls on my npc and found these are ok to skill up 85-95 on, though.. so I figure I should tell ya.. ok on skill ups and lvl'n npc.. bad on key drops.
Oh just a fyi, I got the quest item and not the map from the first chest I opened. I had figured I was gonna get the map, glad I was wrong ^^

lol it was hillarious, i was a lvl 1 BST in Sea Grotto. i was gonna bloadport back to windy but instead i took and chance. i charmed an Ironshell, and it worked. An Ironshell that was about 40 lvls higher than me and i Charmed it XD and the effect never wore off. My friend an i were just starting SAM quest and and wanted to bloodport to save time. so he died first, but he didnt port right away i cause i said i wanna try something. and i charmed an Ironshell as a lvl 1 BST. he was like "No way!!." then i made it attack a Ghast and my friend said"I'm gonna die if you beat that thing"(he was already dead but you get the picture) and i woulda won if it didnt do some kinda special attack. i was gonna charm another Ironshell when the first one died to finish off the ghast, but i kinda sorta pressed the wrong button. so i died in one hit by the ghast. lol

Hunted these guys last night just outside of Norg. Fairly plentiful, easy to get to chain 3-4 with a party of Lv32-33 folks.
Also observed them using the following special attacks:
Big Scissors (single powerful attack)
Scissor Guard (Defense Boost)
Bubble Shower (AoE attack & STR Down)
Bubble Curtain (Shell)
name-escapes-me (Stoneskin)
All the attacks are water-based, so have your white mage keep Barwatera up to mitigate the damage. The Stoneskin effect usually isn't worth Dispelling (by the time I cast it my party had already just punched through), but Bubble Curtain & Scissor Guard can be a pain and are worth the 25 MP to clear.
These guys are relatively low risk, and hunting them brings a welcome change of pace after the nightmare of Garlaige Citadel. Highly recommended.

I was wandering aimlessly in yuhtunga(spelling probly wrong) jungle, and saw a small pond and decided to fish and caught one there. If thats of any use to anyone.
