Vana'diel Bestiary: Korrigan  

Korrigans are fun to fight :) I fight all the time not only for a lil exp but because i am
trying to get the 4 leaf korrigan bud. I have fought 1000's of them, but have only gotten 4 buds soo far. But trust me, when i kill the korrigans the beastmaster's in the area get pissed that i kill
there pets. I go as 75PUP/37NIN. I do believe a blm can solo it , even a rdm with the sleep/nuke type deal. I have tried using my blm automation on them, have gotten fire4 to do 750-1200 dmg.
The do have decent acc an fast att. speed, i have solo'ed as whm/nin but is alot harder to do than going as pup/nin.

I was xping with my static a few nights in Boyhada and these things are cake in my opinion. True, they hit kind of hard and fast, but they have pitiful defense and the special moves of mandies are laughable.

For reference's sake all member of the party where level 63, and the build was PLD, DRK, RNG, THF, BRD, RDM.

I was very suprised to see a BST farming spiders in Boyahda Tree with a Korrigan in tow. For a moment I was wondering if there was a jug pet out there, that I was unaware of. A quick check of their inventory (and a empty ammo slot) informed otherwise. This black Mandragora is identical to homunculus ( A jug pet summoned via Alchemists Water) and the BCNM 40 Mandragora Dvorovoi.

These things are adorable, black mandies with yellow eyes ^^ but from what I've seen not aggro. I removed sneak next to a group of them while heading to camp, and none of them aggroed.

EDIT: I take that back, our DRK was very easily owned by one of these vicious creatures when sneaked dropped at the wrong moment.
