Vana'diel Bestiary: Troll Smelter  

I just fought one of these when it linked off of one of the NM Trolls guarding the Archaic Mirror. This ***** did AoE 150+ fire dmg (With barfira mind you) And Im not saying as a TP move, I mean he spams it, its his normal attack, and he has the 2hr ability Eagle eye Shot. >.< It sucked hardcore, his Def was fairly low, our NIN was PWNing it but not fast enough. Needless to say this guy wiped a 75pt, granted some of us had weakness (includingthe SMN) but not a mob I'd take lightly.

AoE is incredibly large and if you bind him and run he'll use a rocket launcher which is always fun <,<\

Oh and these do go through shadows. ;_;
