I traded a coin to Gajaad before to get the turban. But today when I tried to trade more bronze coins he keeps repeating something about Chochoroon being taken by beastmen and wouldn't accept my trade.

Am I not able to trade if npcs get taken by beseige?

Would Someone Like To Make A Small Documented List Of Current NPC'S That Accept This Currency For Certain Rare/ex And Non Rare/ex Item's Please?, So Far All I See Is Information On Obtaining These Coins And It's Relation To MOG LOCKER, BUT Their Is Walahara Turban And Ton's Of Other Useful Stuff You Can Buy. It Would Definitely Help Alot Of People Out I'm Shure And Wish I Had This Info At My Fingertips, If I Was Able To I Would Gladly Post A Small List / Summary - Thanks Guys.

Year of Mog Locker Service
# Jun 01 2006 at 11:29 PM Rating: Decent
Wait let me get this straight, 20 Imperal Standing can be traded for 1 Bronze Piece which buys you one Real Life Week of Mog Locker Service, so 1040 Imperal Standing could buy you an Entire Year?! oooo Lemme get my Signet... er "Sanction" (which for some reason isnt in the auto-trans) and XP for a while! XD

Coins for Walahra Turban
# Jun 01 2006 at 1:01 PM Rating: Decent
This is to let eveyone know that the NPC for the Walahra Turban doesn't accept anything else then Bronze Coins.

I thought that I could save some time by getting 20 Gold Coins instead of 1000 Bronze Coins, but once I got all the 20 Gold Coins and spent all my points, I noticed that the NPC wasn't accepting those. ; ;

Now I'm stuck with 20 Gold Coins and no more points to buy the Bronze Coins I need for the turban. But, by looking at other posts in this thread, I noticed that some NPC in Nashmau can break down my Gold Coins into smaller change. That is what I wanted to hear since I didn't want to get another 20000 points to buy the Bronze Coins. The Gold Coins seems to give you the less gil/imperial standing points ratio out of all the types of coins.

Awaheen will break higher-value coins into smaller ones, but is there someone somewhere who will let you go the other way, trading up from smalller to larger?

Trading Awaheen Five Imperial Bronze Pieces, for example, will NOT get you an Imp. Silver piece; but trading a silver piece will get you five bronze. It seems he only goes from larger to smaller.

Where is the NPC for the ToAU Sanction and the NPC to trade your Standing Points for this new currency?

Just like the gate guards in the main cities, there's a guard near the exits/zones in Aht Urhgan Whitegate and Al Zhabi that'll cast Sanction on you, and you can trade in your Standing points there too. I'm not sure which one gives you coins yet though.

Once you're past mission 2 I believe in Whitegate, you'll have access to the Mercenary jobs and the Aht Urhgan version of 'Signet'. [I don't know what it's called yet, but it's there.]

You gain Imperial Standing [points] by killing monsters with ToAU Signet, and you can trade 20 points in for 1 bronze piece, 100 points for a silver piece. [Not sure for the price of Mythrils.] If you did the Lure of the Wildcat quests, you can also trade your Invitation Cards to Naja Salaheem for one bronze piece each.

Now the question is... Can you gain Imperial Standing by using the ToAU Signet OUTSIDE of Aht Urhgan? Can anyone clear that up?

It is called Sanction in ToAU areas, and no you cannot get Imperial Standing points outside of the regions on the Besieged Region Info Map (the new ToAU areas). I tried this today in a sky xp party with no luck. Also, you cannot have both Signet and Sanction at the same time, one cancels out the other. hope this helps

Aw, that's too bad, I'm way too low level to kill stuff in Aht Urhgan yet. :P

I guess that's good though, would be waaay too easy to get these coins if you could gain standing outside of Aht Urhgan. Thanks for the help.

These can be used to pay for your mog locker rental. 1 imperial bronze piece gets you one real week rental.

Seems to me I recall seeing somewhere that they would be redeemable for purchases in connection with the mercenaries; special items or equipment, etc... There's a trader in Nashmau (I believe) who will split the large currency into the smaller ones, as well as a Taru in Whitegate who will warp you into Jeuno for one bronze piece, if I recall correctly. (Not the free one, as the free one can accidentally warp you somewhere else... Farthest I've been sent though was Batallia Downs, just outside of Jeuno, so no way I'm wasting these til I know for sure.)

Found this little Tarutaru on my first jaunt through the Whitegate area. He teleported me to about the half-way point in the tunnel leading to Qufim Island. I'll post more if I find out more Teleport points. ^^

You mention "...Not the free one, as the free one can accidentally warp you somewhere else..." in regards to a free teleporter service.

Where is the NPC for this please? and can anyone else give more specific information regarding this service please? Many thanks

The older brother of the free warp taru in Al Zahbi is located near the mog house in whitegate. He is on the top floor in the center of the area. He charges 1 silver coin to warp you to Jeuno. And I would think that you get to Jeuno 100% of the time.

I never used him, but if ever the free warp taru is taken has prisoner or if you need to warp and there is a Besiege. You can use his older brother which isn't really expansive, only cost 100 imperial standing points.

I don't remember the name, but it is a tarutaru in Al Zahbi sitting on a box. He'll say that he's working on a new spell to teleport to Jeuno and asks for a guinea pig to try it out.
what the?!
