does the magic attack bonus +5 affect songs too? if so is this good to use instead of the +10 of errant?
Heck no.

Weskit is better by far. There's a reason SE made the Igqira set the BLM JSE. The weskit has Conserve MP+, it also has a slightly higher MAB+, not to mention Elemental Magic Skill+. Its awesome on so many levels, whereas this would be more useful for a BRD who can't afford the much more expensive Sha'ir Manteel.
whats better

I was wondering something about this pretty body armor. Would it be better to nuke with this or the errant houppelande?

Obtain mercenary rank 2 by winning some level 1 assaults. Then speak to Naja Salaheem and get the rank up quest. Give her an imp wing. Spam Lamaia 13 for awhile or tackle a bunch of the level 2 assaults to get the next rank up quest. Talk to ZNaja again and find the Warhorse Hoofprint for Mercenary rank 3.

Minimalist strategy:
Now form a group of three people and do Periqia #3. There are 5 rooms. In each are 3 chigoes. Also an NPC. 2/5 times this NPC is a fake, and is actually a fomor. You need to find the 3 real NPC's and speak with them to rescue them. There are also wandering fomor BRDs in the halls with true hearing. Avoid them at all costs, they're very tough and a big waste of time to fight.

You have a few options on how to rescue the NPC's and avoid the fomors. Gravity from a RDM works wonders. He can gravity and run away. Its very little hate, so soon the fomor will lose aggro. They can also be slept (not dark-resistant). In which case its best to run a little ways away and log to reset hate.

The chigoes are easy. Have your melee of choice aggro one and build TP on it. Enfeebling it is nice to reduce damage. TP wings, /SAM, or other strategies to obtain 100% TP quickly are also viable. Then aggro all three and get them in a group and AOE WS for instant death.

Another option is have someone aggro all the chigoes, and then have a mage sleepga them. Grab the NPC quickly, then have the sleeper leave the room and log to reset hate.

1100 points per run, 1210 with armband. Should take about 18 runs if you get the armband at least twice.

Anyway, got mine trioing this assault: MNK/WAR, RDM/BLM, WHM/SMN (sometimes BRD/WHM instead of the WHM/SMN)

<3 Yigit Gomlek. Nice to not wear white when resting, nice to sing even faster as RDM/BRD. Been getting a ton of /checks since I got it.

This has been confirmed on theoderls.com that it does indeed give 1mp per tic. But with the addition of +8mp while healing, this entire set is the best resting gear you can get. Getting the entire set, though, is incredibly time consuming most people don't have 5spaces to waste on just resting.

Does anyone have the full set yet? I would like to know for sure if the refresh is 1mp/tick or greater. From the description that SE gave it would seem that the refresh would be greater than 1 a tick.

This is gotten through doing the Periqia area assault missions. You need a total of 20,000 points for this lovely item.

Each set of Yigit is 20,000 points in different areas of assault. I just got my Turban and I LOVE it. ^^

Well, 20,000 Assault points wouldn't really be that hard to get, particularly if you have a group of people who continuously do them together. It'd maybe take you a couple weeks of doing them moderately often (4-5 successes per week). They're not easy, but a lot easier than some of the stuff SE has thrown at us. It would be soooo much easier to get 20k points than to save up 35,000,000. (depending on income =P)
Difficulty to attain

I kind of like the sound of that, since its completely beyond my pay-grade ever to get a Sha'ir body... on a scale of 1 to 10 does anyone know how hard it would be to get 20k points and maybe compair that to the difficulty to get 35,000,000gil...
